- Gorgeous day on the north side of Chicago as the WORLD CHAMPION Cubs took on the Pittsburgh Pirates.
I snagged a few baseballs during batting practice, and then as I often do at Wrigley Field, I wandered all over the place and explored the ballpark.

Really enjoyed the way this video was done. It seemed a little different than most others. The slow, sweeping panoramic views of the stadium were great. Moving through the crowd walking down the aisles while slowly panning was great too! It all really made it feel like I was there. Awesome.
Zack, you are amazing! All the baseball knowledge you have and then plus you know everything about ballhawking! I'm in the process of reading your books and please never stop doing this, it's so entertaining!!! I've also used Seat Geek so much and I wouldn't have known anything about it if it weren't for you. Just got back from Miller Park watching the cubs take 2 out of 3 this weekend!
70% of the fans there were cubs fans which is crazy to see. And you were right Zach, security has stepped their game up on the 2nd level. Really stinks.

Was at Wrigley last weekend. We booked a night game, in case the weather got up into the 90's. Well it did get ridiculously hot, and at nightfall, it didn't cool off at all! The hell of it was that there was a big breeze, but it didn't reach us on the second deck. I was watching the umpire's pant legs billowing in the wind, but the muggy air was dead still at our seats. On top of it all, we discovered a big pole blocking our view of home plate. And the upper deck blocked our view of the sky, so fly balls disappeared until they fell back to the field. One guy in our group was so miserable from the heat that he bailed after 2 innings. I was astonished that it was less comfortable sitting in the same heat that we had been walking around in all day. Something about all those bodies being crammed in a tight space. My wife had enough by the end of the 5th. Was glad I went, but if I had it to do over again, it would have been the upper deck. The view from up there is awesome.

I was at this game too!! Awesome!! Good thing I didn't go to the game the next afternoon. The Cubs got gave up 10 in the first inning.

Zack just letting you know I have been to three cubs home stands and 1 cubs game at Camden yards. I've noticed they only take bp the first game of a series no matter what and it depends if what t he next game is a night game or a day game if it's a day game than they won't take bp, but if it's a night game then they will and if they have a 3rd or 4th game they will not take bp

Ticket prices were high before they won. It's always been cheaper to see them at Wrigley north(miller park)
Suicidaljello I live in Iowa and we go see the cubs every year in Chicago for vacation, this year we were going to go to Miller park to see them because we thought it would be cheaper, but whenever the cubs are in town the jack their prices up to about the same amount in Chicago, so we just decided it's better to just go to wrigley.
the awesome thing is my parents took off me from school to go to the parade for the cubs and i was there waiting for about 4 hours then they were coming out
