What a gorgeous view! I hope you stay safe in Georgia. I have kids your age, and I love how gracious and capable you are surviving as a refugee. Very inspirational.
even though this vlog came out very late... it's still very pleasant because I feel like you've taken me back in time, and it's the holidays again. thank you natasha.
thanks for sharing all these insights. your christmas in the hut looked very cozy! the current videos from your hometown celebrations are very frightening
Watching this with my friend , she was scared the lights reflection were UFOs 🙄 may the new year bring you , and us all , peace , health, joy and prosperity . Keeping you in our prayers.
Happy New Year Natasha! I enjoyed this video. I always love that you teach us about your culture. It's interesting and a bit sad to see the way the celebrations in Spassk have been altered by the invasion of Ukraine. The way you improvised your gift wrapping with the twine was clever and they looked nice. Good to see you had a good time with your friends. Peace.
Happy New Year Natasha! I hope it happy and healthy for you. Thank you for another great video. I love all your films but your New Year films have a special place. I feel quite emotional as I notice all the changes in your life, my life, Russia and the world since I started watching you. I am so proud of you and look forward to keeping up with you in 2025.
Happy Holidays Y'all. Hope everyone is doing well, including Pigeon. I have been busy sometimes I get a chance to watch your content on TV, so, hard to comment without keyboard. You are really good at this, I like the non-political videos, they show you happy, without stress. Stay safe my little Russian friend. Ciao
Lol.... You might want to try some UA-cam drawing classes to help you out 😂 more? If I was on your team they would guess it immediately since I am degreed in Art. Seriously, you and yours look like your having a wonderful holiday? Happy Holidays and keep the content flowing!
I've been following your channel ever since your ice-desk picture went viral. Must be at least 5 years? It's great to see these new year's vlogs each year and learn a bit more of russian culture. I hope you continue the tradition. I learned about olivye from you and have made it myself a few times. Thanks!
It is great news that you enjoyed Christmas/New Year, thank you for sharing your activities with us Natasha . stay safe and well . Best wishes for 2025 from the UK.
The first plant you show is a banana tree. You're showing its flower at the end of this tall stem. It's above this flower that bananas grow. It's called a banana regime. Happy New Year !
That alien plants you see are banana trees and what you were holding is the banana flower. The actual flower however is hidden beneath the purple coloured flap. I too find this interesting. I don't know they can grow in a cold climate, I thought it is a specific tropical plant only.
Normal edible Banana plants can tolerate "some" cooler weather and perhaps a small overnight ground frost which thaws promptly as soon as the Sun rises. However there are also "Decorative Banana" plant varieties which can take a bit more cold again. However they won't necessarily give you edible banana fruits.
That plant at the beginning looks like a banana plant. It can't be to cold there, they usually grow in semi tropical areas and won't tolerate frosts. Happy new year from Australia.
This video was awesome! It was a combination of a bit of cultural education, current events, and the spirit of a beautiful holiday in a beautiful country with friends. And since I have no real Russian friends, anytime you want to invite me over to play экивоки I'll be there! (Since that's pure fantasy I'll settle for watching your next video which I am of course looking forward to as I always do.) PS Love how you watched Schulmann instead of Putin for the New Year 😆. PPS Have you ever tried Scrabble in Georgian? We used to do it in French in French class in High School...though not sure how much it helped me since I can't speak French.
Thank you very much Natasha for this beautiful video. Your english is really fantastic and you speak it so well. Very happy you spent Christmas holidays with your friends in this nice place. Wish you a Happy New Year filled with everything you wish. ⭐️💕🍀
Hi Natasha. Yes the board games can be very fun and addicting. I enjoy Sudoku and solitaire. Happy New Year! All the best wishes for you. I liked it when you showed the Russian celebration where you dressed up with tin foil. I'm wondering if Georgian people have such a tradition? I can see you won't be making a living as an artist!😁 Thank You for posting.✌️🐦
Beautiful. Last year it occurred to me Georgia is pretty far south and lots warmer than nearly all of Russia. Almost like Northern California. You’ve got the vegetation to prove it. Remember not to give away too much information about your residence location. In modern times the smallest hint makes Geo Location possible. But then I’ve noticed, you haven’t really said anything that nasty about the government.
@@arch5701 everything is crashing badly for Putin. He puts on a brave face, yet the media barely report Russia’s desperation. A frightened cornered rat like Putin can become even more hateful and violent. Natasha is really simply a young girl making comments on (mostly her own ) lifestyle. But still she is in a group of only 20 or 30 well known anti Putin channels. I’m afraid the KGB will try to find all of them and will abduct or kill them. As innocent as her content may be, it interferes with Putin’s propaganda. Influencers like Inside Russia, the Russian dude, various others are even more endangered. Even Jake from in USA should watch out.
Coastal Black Sea in Georgia is tropical. This is why tangerines grow there. Georgia is a small country, but nature and whether is different in every region.
I'm amazed there are tangerines growing in Georgia because everywhere i've seen oranges growing has a different climate to Georgia ....I've seen them in Israel and Australia and southern California in the US and southern Spain always in places where the sun beats down relentlessly for months on end
That plant in the beginning of your video is Musa basjoo. Despite it being from southern China, its common name are Basjoo Banana Tree, Hardy Banana, Hardy Fiber Banana, "Japanese" Banana, "Japanese" Fiber Banana, and Sichuan Hardy Banana. Previously, it was thought that it originated in Japan. The sweet banana that's bought at the market is from the Musa acuminata.
What a gorgeous view! I hope you stay safe in Georgia. I have kids your age, and I love how gracious and capable you are surviving as a refugee. Very inspirational.
So nice to see you ! Happy New Year Natasha !
Natasha at her best. You are simply too funny. No vlogger makes me laugh like you do. Thank you for update!
Take good care Natasha and I hope you have a great year!
thank you (as usual) for the update, and for the continued education that we receive about Russia, its traditions, and its complexities.
Right?? She packs a ton of content into not much time. Hers is the sort of stuff that makes UA-cam gr8 :3
Happy Tangerine New Year 🍊🍊
Good to see you are doing well and having fun!
Takk!
Hope you end the year as happy and with friends as you start it. That’s really all any of us can ask for.
Thanks!
Thanks for the good wishes, I hope your New Year brings you much joy 🙂
Great to hear from you! Love the content.

All those "tangerines" lying on your path remind me of the old arcade game "Pacman" 🤣
hope this is a great year for you.
Watching this with my friend , she was scared the lights reflection were UFOs 🙄 may the new year bring you , and us all , peace , health, joy and prosperity . Keeping you in our prayers.

Happy new year Natasha. Board and card games are cool! Recently I've been learning how to solve cryptic crosswords - not easy!
Good to see you again. Greetings from New Zealand.
May the new year be easy on You
Right under that first tangerine I saw a strawberry plant, my favorite.

Great video and well wishes.
Happy new year! Greetings from Nicaragua.
Wishing you a happy new year and that you will find the right path to fulfillment in 2025.
Happy new year!
Ekivoki sounds like it would be fun, and they should translate it to a western version. Also, Happy New Year!
The North Carolina Avenue card caught my eye. Happy New Year from North Carolina!
Nice video. Happy New Year to you.

Agree, some banana variety

Happy new year from Australia.
Yes it's quite an interesting plant with that scrotal thing hanging down! 🤔
I came here to say "Banana"
12:19 You're friends tone in their voice when saying it 😂😂
Happy New Year Natasha! Just like you, I didn't watch my president on tv. And I never will.
Happy New Year 2025 Natasha! Always nice to watch you videos.

Lovely holiday video, Natasha! Citrus is in season during the winter, it's great you got to experience it in the wild.
Natasha, thank you for sharing your Holiday Season. Wishing you all the best in 2025. Greetings from Southern California.
Happy New Year Natasha 🎉
Happy 2025 Natasha! I remember the first of your videos that I watched a couple of years ago was about celebrating New Year in Russia.
Wishing you strength and happiness Natasha 😊🌷
I played uno for New Year's too!
Belated Happy New Yesr, Natasha. May all your dreams for 2025 come true
The "fruit" is a banana flower which will turn into a bunch of banana once fertilized.
Would have guessed shallots if they were not on the tree?
Happy New Year!!!🎉
Btw that weird plant you saw is a banana plant. They always grow that strange purple cone at the end of the bunch of bananas

She tends to give information about where she has been, not where she is when you see the video. Careful is good.
The region is the video is Adjaria. It rains there for most of the year.

I knew immediately who both of your drawings represented. You tend to excel at expressing yourself. Peace/JT
I'm amazed there are tangerines growing in Georgia because everywhere i've seen oranges growing has a different climate to Georgia ....I've seen them in Israel and Australia and southern California in the US and southern Spain always in places where the sun beats down relentlessly for months on end
That was my thought too.
And in my place where it rains a lot in the winter
👏
Natasha forevermore. Stay strong and carry on. 💥⚡🔥🇺🇲🗽⚖️🌈🌈💙😝🥰
0:48 this is a banana tree, darling...and this is the ''heart'' of the plant.
I hope you are doing well! Happy holiday(s) -Xmas/N.Y. etc. 🇺🇦🎉😊 Best wishes and thanks for the videos, as always :)
