That was not by force, what is wrong in someone asking you to make a choice that he will help you, many did not come out and no one complained. It is a free will. I heard about this video long before watching it. I had a pre-monition that the pastor was wrong before. After watching it now, my take is that the Pastor has not flouted any known rule in second part where he called other interested singles. Everything they did was of their own accord. He would have been wrong if he sealed their union right away, as the decisions would have been hasty for the couples . He gave them time to rationalise their decisions. That is awesome, natural, and commendable. BUT he was wrong to denigrate the first lady the way he did.

No blind is leading the blind here. Although, we still see hypocrites who chose to trust someone they never know to help them find a husband. Sometimes, the Prophetic office may been bastardized by some folks in the Christiandom. But I believe the man of God was on track provided he never forced anyone to marry outside their free will. Also, the later part of the video showed how he asked them to do their findings to know if they can actually get married to the supposed person which was quite commendable anyways.
Many pastors will not encourage their members to get married, but the prophet doesn't only encourage them, he also financed the wedding. A situation that is very rare in most churches nowadays.
Tell me how many times have you heard the churches of nowadays financing their members wedding.
Immorality and infidelity will continue until the church rise to reclaim it's rightly position in our society. Now, what should be organized, monitored and nutured by the church is now on the wrong hands called OAPs, motivational speakers, and unbelievers. Let's not forget that marriage was instituted by God the father himself. And it must be done in the Lord's way if we really desire to have a sane society, free from perversions, addictions, and societal decadence.
Having said all that...
I still have my reservations about how the Man of God handled the matter of the previous lady. But I pray the Lord will settle her very soon. in Jesus Name.

The consenting ADULTS seem content with their prospects. However, does it mean the first lady is too much of a sinner or in ‘bondage’ beyond the pastor’s control? Why can’t the pastor pray a little harder for her? Her ‘rejects’ were scooped by others. I don’t understand; I’m not religious.

I do get what you are saying because Ruth became active and took advantage of opportunity as she was guided. This young lady in video....honestly it doesn't appear she is being led by The Holy Spirit.
From Creation it was not ordained so. However in Ruth's case many yrs after Creation man authoritative culture reigned in that time. Note they were also following the law given from Leviticus ,that a relative could take on the deceased responsibility (but the closest relative[ after her husband would be her brother in law] was also dead.

Many will think its a joke, but there is something we learn here. The devil would rather allow you to fornicate until death, but not to marry and make a strong family which in turn creates a strong church. This guy is a true man of God, brought for this generation. Why keep mentioning women when alot of men out in the church are single too.men should search for wives not the other way round as portrayed by this church. I wonder why we like to criticize UNNECESSARILY.
The pastor tried to assist a church member who is DESPERATE to get married. He failed but succeeded in pairing up countless of other singles who VOLUNTARILY expressed having similar problems.
Pairing singles means sharing 1 pot of soup instead of 2; Paying 1 rent instead of 2; reducing insecurity and other marital needs including opportunity to build families which is a BASIC need.
Furthermore, he promised to fund the wedding (traditional & white) if/when the consenting ADULTS make their decision. Yet he has to get them jobs too? These people are all jobless? How, have they been surviving?
Is holy matrimony a 'scary' money grubbing venture or a good thing that every Nigerian ‘Christian’ desires?
Is it better for singles to be roaming around in a church praying for same basic need or God forbid committing sins perhaps with other peoples spouse? The white man does matchmaking all the time for a fee.
