He has a grudge to you and mario who may have a grudge on him for doing something reckless out of jealousy. This makes sense because luigi is a mike stand in. I have a comment going over some dialogue and flavor text. He is upset at being the shadow to his brother and being neglected because of it and there are 4 outcomes(maybe 5 if there is a weird route).
I think the coolest part is that these are gradually getting more and more animated and meticulous. The characters are fully moving now, the text is bobbing up and down, the water shimmers, not to mention the amazing music!

One thing I’ve liked to imagine in terms of story is that Toad doesn’t actually go by Toad but instead goes by Captain (or Captain T. Ode, for Origami King fans), and throughout chapter one wears an explorer hat like the one that Captain Toad wears.
I love the title! I really like the idea of "Eternal Star" being the actual text, it's just a really cool title for that statue. Also, wow, I did not intend for people to take my "Kris turned into a Goomba from not watching the Super Mario Bros. Super Show" comment seriously, but if that disclaimer in the description is really necessary...I guess someone must have.
I don't know why, but hearing this made me think about how, no matter how hard you try when making a video game, it would be impossible to make a mystery like "L is real" was. Unless, mayhaps, it is just nearly impossible...

i like how unlike most of the other songs that use the original HUD font, this one uses the beta font. Its a pretty cool detail. edit: while i was relistening to this song again i realized the font also changed back to the original HUD font when mario was referenced.
What I find so cool about this is that luigi isn't really taking the spot of anyone from deltarune. Mario is spamton, Peach is jevil, bowser is birdley etc. But luigi? He doesn't need to be in place of someone to exist. Nobody needs to be there for L to be real

Honestly my favorite part of this series of songs is the castle theme being the freedom motif as it is the CORE of the mario gang, just like the freedom motif is the CORE of gaster, the Mario NEO rainbow road appearance is great too, also, is it just me or does the file select melody sound somewhat like Megalovania? I was confused on what Luigi was supposed to be as Mario is Spamton, Peach is Jevil, and Bowser is Berdly, then I read the description and he’s supposed to be Mike, the theoretical antagonist of a future chapter.

Actually Inside the Castle Walls is the freedom motif (it's the only motif to appear in all three main battle themes). Also the Freedom motif doesn't even show up in NYCTBA, but it DOES show up in Dialtone. Guess what shows up in this AU's Dialtone replacement :)

Honestly my favorite part of this series of songs is the castle theme being the freedom motif as it is the CORE of the mario gang, just like the freedom motif is the CORE of gaster, the Mario NEO rainbow road appearance is great too, also, is it just me or does the file select melody sound somewhat like Megalovania?
Aside of that, concept is excelent, execution is excelent, 10/10

I was confused on what Luigi was supposed to be as Mario is Spamton, Peach is Jevil, and Bowser is Berdly, then I read the description and he’s supposed to be Mike, the theoretical antagonist of a future chapter.
Mike could be just the secret boss. Or Tenna. Or Tenna is the secret boss and Mike IS the antagonist? This is so confusing I'm sticking with chess not because I'm biased.

@@daniellejackson6543 Luigi is Mike, but Mike likely isn't going to be in Chapter 3 given Sweepstakes instead saying Mike was a victim of some other guy called Tenna. It being Luigi was specifically with this fact in mind since Luigi was "lost" by being scrapped in development and somehow being sealed or trapped in the L is Real statue.

Actually Inside the Castle Walls is the freedom motif (it's the only motif to appear in all three main battle themes). Also the Freedom motif doesn't even show up in NYCTBA, but it DOES show up in Dialtone. Guess what shows up in this AU's Dialtone replacement :)
