No longer a tacoma owner but still enjoy the content. Amazing guide as usual. Great video.
Lol dude, I’ve bought just about everything from your damn Amazon fb page. I have a massive drawer full
I purchased front coils and shocks and they’ve been sitting by my front door for two months. Doesn’t help I work all the time lol love the channel man 🤘🏼
I still haven’t installed my inflatable “Dolly Parton” passenger & side-kick doll. All that’s required is to sit her in the seat and buckle her in... but she’s still in my bedroom after nearly 3 years!
Been waiting for this vid for a while glad to see it’s here!
Nice video. Really don't need a catch can in a Tacoma unless you're running a high compression engine. Turbo or supercharger. Or you have a direct injection engine, which the 2nd Gen Tacoma's don't have. Looks pretty but won't really serve much purpose.
Even the third gen Tacoma's with direct and port injection don't need a catch can unless it's boosted. The port injectors will clean the intake valves that the DI don't
Bought an add a leaf for my Dakar pack 6 years ago. Still sitting on the shelf in the garage
I went two years with morimoto xb led fogs sitting on my desk. Just installed them a few months ago. 👍
I was told it’s not smog legal in California. The smog technician said I had to disconnect it. So while I was there I bypassed it by re-installing original hose.
Luckily the smog tech gave me a heads up before failing my truck. I was also glad I kept the original hose in the truck.
CA seems to be the most strict on ANYTHING done under the hood.
I have wanted to install one, but me no good without video of installation. Thanks for the video!!
Great video, like always!
I have a secondary horn I haven't installed after a year. I'm afraid I'll do something wrong electrically.
I've had my CB sitting in my office for close to a year (thanks covid).
On the catch can subject, I regularly find oil in my catch can, I tend to empty it twice during an LOF interval, at about half full.
Also, if the can had been installed with the lines pointing back to the firewall, there would be less severe bends and look less crowded.
1500 watt pure sine wave inverter: bought 4 months ago (it's now sitting and waiting for me in the garage )
Purchased rear brake shoes for my taco in January. Been kinda procrastinating.
I want a catch can for my 4.0
I have a part or 2 that I bought in 2004 that I never installed on my Acura... Really should probably get on that
Lol still got the Acura??
@@Tacomaholic I sure do
Front rotors and pads about 16 months. 3rd gen suspension about 13 months. Catch- can is on my list.
Reminds me I have some rotors that need to get installed. 😃
Cool idea but in some states you could possibly flunk the emissions visual inspection by having a modified Crankcase ventilation system. If you have no emission test no problem. Test, might be a problem.
4 months on my skids. So far only installed the front still need to paint the rest lol
I haven’t installed my spc UCA. Been sitting in my room for 4months now hahaha
I have a lockable tailgate handle I bought years ago....not sure I even remember where I put it now. 🤔
Feb 26th 2020 purchased my oil catch can. It's catching dust up on top of my tool box...
Isn't there 2 PCV on the 1GR?? I know there's another one on the other valve cover.
Gotta do this to my ranger 🤦🏽♂️
I have never been able to able to wait more than 1 day to put something on my taco. If you're trying to sell an exhaust system for a 2nd gen 4.0 let me know mine is rusted yo the rate of holes in it.
Leather insert for the armrests. 7 years.
4 years led fog lights. 4 years 1 day tomorrow
An update on the catch can would be great .
I will when I do my first oil change with it.
Pop and Lock for the tailgate . Purchased at least 5 years ago ,still not installed 😔
Get on it!
What size hose?
I bought extra LED DRL's three years ago, and I still haven't installed them. I did install tailgate and side LED strip lights, though. I just never installed the ones for the front.
I'd like to know what that tray is behind and above the battery on your truck. 😊 Also, what year is it? I see some of the products you recommend don't seem to fit a 2023. Thanks.
That's from www.powertrays.com/
Thank you.
3 months on my JLT3.0 catch can lol.
I waited 2 weeks to install my Add A Leafs...
I have purchased items and don’t even have a Tacoma yet!
Ha ha nice!
Tell me about your Aux power unit you installed and the brand.
Greetings Lawrence! I go over that install in this vid: ua-cam.com/video/erotP050Tmg/v-deo.html
2 months for the dash panel protech thing
Yo the inlet is where the pcv go right ?
And the outlet is the one for the intake ?
Correct
@@Tacomaholic thanks for the fast reply
@@Tacomaholic this will work for 4Runner too right
@@tr4ilblazin Yes the catch can will work the same, but the install might be a little different depending on how the PCV tube is oriented.
This is $165 on sale rn but after upgrading its close to $300👀 is it worth it? I know that’s a subjective question but...
The V3 is currently $109 ... plus you get a 5% discount from my referral link.
what size hose for my 2020 TRD Off road?
Probably a 9mm.
@@Tacomaholic By the way....get 5 ft of hose if you're mounting on the sidewall...3 ft isn't quite enough, as I now know. 9mm was correct fo the 2020
Closing in on 17 months...similar "complexity" in terms of install.
With a little patience and a lot of swearing 😅😂🤣🥲
It is the way.
They don't specifically make a catch can for 3rd Gen Tacoma.
Longest I’ve gone is 24hours
Nice!
So you what to drive the same truck forever?
It's a Tacoma ... so yeah.
4.88 gears going on 3 years ☹️
2 months delayed due to weather
Four months.
I guess you aren't planning on changing the spark plugs or coils on that side.
Only added 1 hose with all the other shit that's already in the way.
Catch can isn't necessary unless forced induction. Its pointless.
A TOTAL waste of time and money on the 3.5L with duel fuel injection.
Why would you spend time and money on a Catch Can on a normally aspirated engine. I added the ADD1 with stainless steel braided hoses on my Supercharged 4.0 liter. It collects apprx 1/2" of blow-by every 1000 miles.
Completely not needed
I’m still waiting to install stuff I bought years ago
I bought an exhaust cutout when I was 16. I’m 44 in a few months. Just put it on my coma about two years ago and just took it off …. First smog due or overdue now
