Shane Balkowitsch at the Ellendale Opera House Opening Talk 9-23-2023

Shane discusses the history of photography, his work at Nostalgic Glass Wet Plate Studio and the origin of his series "Northern Plains Native Americans: A Modern Wet Plate Perspective". Shane was invited to the historic Ellendale Opera House to do a demonstration on the historic wet plate collodion process of pure silver on glass. They also had on exhibition 38 of his Native American prints. Gail Funk a visitor and resident of Ellendale took this video of Shane with his iPhone. He was unaware he was being recorded.
