    Exactly!
There is so much data NAR hides that should be available to everyone.
Realtors have shifted to propping up the market, instead of representing their clients well.

You hit the nail on the head here. I can't remember who said it first (maybe Naval Ravikant) but "Information wants to be free!" My goal is to give away as much information as possible about the home buying process so that consumers are better informed and empowered with the confidence that comes through knowledge should they choose to represent themselves when buying a home!

I agree, realtors are an antiquated business model.

Historically it's been an industry most resistant to change. But well beyond the time for us to improve the home buying process and reduce transaction fees.

Hello just found your channel great video me and my wife are in our late 40s my kids all grown and almost on their own I’m terrified to buy a house at this point in my life even though we have no debt and plenty of money for a good down payment I’m stuck on what to do 🤦🤦🤦🤦

So glad you found the channel! I'd recommend joining the free DIY Homebuyer community (skool.com/diyhomebuyer) and asking your question there! Real estate is great - but owning a home isn't for everyone. It warrants a larger discussion to help ask the right questions to determine if buying a home truly serves your lifestyle and financial goals.

You're doing a fantastic job! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?

How about the lender? The lender also makes a commission so mustn’t they also be inherently guilty of subversion. Should the mortgage representative be paid?

Good question, here! I do think lender charges should be evaluated as there's a lot of junk fees and inflated costs associated with the transaction. Honestly, it's an area I need to delve into further. One thing at a time though - and for now, reexamining the 'necessity' of buyer's agency is a better place to start.

I was somewhat successful in taking a trip to Kentucky to look for rural land without a buyer's agent. But when I tried to do the same in Idaho, the agent with the most listings in the area that I wanted to look at acted as a gatekeeper, not willing to give me authorization to tour the land or contact the sellers to do so. He wanted me to hire him as a buyers agent, rather than being willing to act as a seller's agent for particular properties. I don't feel the lawsuit settlement has accomplished much of anything.

These kind of experiences are a huge driver behind me creating this channel! The gatekeeping is ridiculous. In many ways, Realtors operate like a cartel. These practices need to be exposed and resolved. Sorry for the poor experience you had in Idaho, but I'm glad you shared about it here!

@@DIYHomebuyer The guy I went with as a buyer's agent, has been great. Since I'm buying raw land, the amount that he's compensated was reasonable since the cost of the purchase is low compared to a house. OTOH, the other agent I contacted to at least choose from two agents missed. She wasn't available to show me many properties during my trip, had a lot of properties that she wouldn't show me for personal security concerns, and didn't let me know about this situation before I interviewed her during the trip. A really nice person, but not a good fit for me.

I've always sold my homes without any realtor. I agree Buyer's agents are ridiculous. So are sellers agents. We have the web.
