OMG! I haven't seen this since when I watched it in the 60's!! This and others like this bring back all my childhood memories! Thank you so much!! ❤❤❤❤
I remember one night when i was little in the early 2000s, I couldnt fall asleep and was watching cartoon network. It had gone from adult swim to this other early morning program, it was like 6:00 am or something. Anyways this came on and I was absolutely enraptured. I watched all the episodes they aired until the sun came up. I never saw it again, and after almost 20 years of humming this song I finally found it! Honestly was starting to think it was a dream 😂
When I I learned that this show was lost media I was flabbergasted as to why I knew this song considering the show is from the 60s and I was born in 04
I was born in Seattle in 1973. Male. Even at 51 in 2024, when it's 3:30pm, this song comes to my mind, because that's when it started, here in Seattle. It was a summertime show here. Looking back, seeing The Banana Splits characters interacting with humans, is real heartwarming, to me.
Well I was one of them little turds living in y70s. And watching the black n white Tv I’d say back in 1971. And I when colour tv first come out in a tv store. Me and my mates used stand out in front of the shop and watch colour tv😁😁😁😁🙃😀fuck yeh! Those were the days 😊
this came to England later in the 70s. We used to sing it in the playground - the song stuck in my head for days at a time no wonder NLP overdrive, no wonder I ended up so retarded

That’s a really good tune, brings memories of late 60s early 70s childhood here in London.
