I was surprised at how well done it was, and I immediately went to check out the channel behind it. And you know what? I was so impressed that I couldn't help but subscribe. It makes Xen actually feel kinda disturbing / unsettling, even if only a little bit (at least, it does to me). I like it. Side note: I know the line was also in Too Slow with Lyrics. That has nothing to do with why it stands out to me Other Side Note: I don’t care if this technically isn’t Xenophanes. I’m calling him Xen anyway.
Im so glad that this melody was given such respect, the melody itself was always my favorite part of the original game. The lyrics themselves make it clear you're not alone, in both the obvious way and the fact that it plays with the melody, it makes somethin that is unsettlin but not worryin, terrifyin. It feels as if the killer himself is playin the very notes that lead up to one final tole of the bell. A toll that happens once, but echos forever
This cover resembles what sonic.exe really is about. It's creepy, unsettling, and in a way relaxing. You look at the lyrics, and it makes your stomach twirl in a knot from this demon god, but you can't help but listen to his melodic voice sing about how you are going to die. Good cover!

@@shugDX I totally agree with you, but the recent games about sonic.exe made it something that it never was. Even though the original story was so bad, they removed it off of the creepypasta website because they thought the creator was trolling(What a punch in a gut 🤣), The original story still gives off nostalgia, and is acually pretty creepy when you think about the premise itself.

This really captured the original fear and unease I felt when I first heard of Sonic.exe and watched it. Amazing job. One of my favorite covers from you of all time. Loved the Too Slow reference as well. Beautiful as always.
This really does the original jingle massive justice. And it also really brings back the OG theme and vibes of EXE as a character. Back when EXE wasn't just a character term or certain classification of evil, when EXE was THE one and only EXE. I really like how brodo incorporates less of the fact that EXE is obsessed with Sonic, and more so uses a copy of his body for its power and massive potential. And the OG theme of EXE is also reinforced by the fact that the lyrics for this jingle depict EXE calling himself a higher being, an unstoppable force. Almost like a punishment unleashed from the very depths. Via lines like *"I've always been here, I'm chasing you down."* It feels like he's been lurking and watching this realm, and something had awakened him and invoked his wrath. *"I'll be all around, you can't escape me."* In reaction to seeing the horrors EXE unleashes on their world, characters like Tails, Knuckles and Robotnik tried to escape him and hide, but they were all only being toyed with, and they could never run or hide from him. *"Just know that I'll be waiting for you at the bottom."* This almost implies that he views himself as some sort of punishment, or figure of justice / judgement. And that when his victims have finished the suffering that he saw fit and are finally clutched within the relieving embrace of death, he won't be quite finished, and will still be there to show that they will never be let off easy. *"Unstoppable, I'm in control. I tried not to go super turbonerd on it, but I did wanna express my gratitude for following the OG creepypasta and not whatever Xenophanes/EXE stuff that comes from FNF or fan games. Not to say those are bad, but they still had quite a lot to pay homage to that wasn’t the Kefka Laugh or “I am god” catchphrase. This cover just hit those better and I felt the nostalgic theorist well up in me lol

You captured the creepy, pressuring, and overwhelming atmosphere here perfectly with the lyrics and it's really clear how much your sonic.exe voice has improved over the months with less distortion which really helped capture the retro game feel. And the references to Too Slow with lyrics were great.
Damn son. I'm not afraid to echo the rest of this comment section when I say you did this godly melody justice. If I had to add something, I always felt that how fast-paced and packed full of notes FNF vocals are shackled you at times and kept your lyrics from shining as well as they could and deserve. I really hope that you're not stressing yourself out by rushing so many covers out. I remember you being worried that you were taking too long in making Triple Trouble. But the over a month of time was perfect for that cover, and it being your most-watched video proves it.
This was my favorite part of the original sonic.exe game and never really expected anyone to really do anything with it besides appreciate it for what it is, but you really captured the hopelessness and acceptance Eggman feels walking towards his end. Amazing as always.
@@RWSfan2024 At a glance it seems like that, but the tone of the music playing combined how the room changes more menacingly. Until at the very end it’s blackout and deadly silent. Eggman is very smart but against Sonic.exe he didn’t even bother trying to fight against him like Knuckles or run/hide like tails. He accepted his fate and wanted to go out with some sense of self worth and went out confronting him knowing he’s going to die. The song’s Depressing tone really expresses that, I hope that helps.

Review done by someone bad at describing stuff (me, lol): So this give a completely different feel from what the other examples of "sonic.exe with lyrics" stuff give me. While the others seem to be a possesed Sonic, or a copy cat, being evil. But this? He doesn't truly seem to be evil so much as bored out of his mind, a immortal being with nothing to do, killing to see what will happen. Honestly the only view that makes it seem like exe is a god/god-like being, story wise. Anyway, onto the lyrics: Absolutely amazing, i love the lyrics and that it uses the melody(?) and the lyrics really drive in the fact that this isn't sonic, but also makes it feel like, at some level, in some way, this IS sonic. I really like everything at and past 1:43 it is really cool sounding and is just awesome and some interesting lyrics. 10/10 cover here.
1:44 This makes me imagine that the Eggman level was actually a prequel(and since the level song is actually hill reversed). Eggman was exploring an ancient burial chamber, and accidentally released a demon that took the form of his own enemy to taunt him

I have one word. AMAZING!! I absolutely loved this theme in the EXE games it gave a sense of horror and fright and with lyrics makes it 10x better! I always imagined Sonic.EXE having this sinister creepy distorted voice kinda like yours in this video and now I can hear that voice! This feels so good to listen to after having watched your Mega Collection, as well as other interpretations of this song. They're all so eerie and haunting, a sign that you all know this character enough to visualize him in your own unique perspectives. I feel this is better than your other covers. Mainly because it's a slower song your covering. The only problem with your other covers is that they are faster songs so you speed up your voice way to much to the point where you can't understand what is being said (COUGH COUGH that one part in triple trouble where xenophanes raps the entire fnaf lore).

Brodo this is amazing. It didn't feel like xeno even though it shared his lyrics. Even when they say lord x is the same person from 2011 it wasn't like him either. It gave me the same sense of dread and fear I had so long ago. Thank you brodo, for bringing me back to my childhood.

If I had to add something, I always felt that how fast-paced and packed full of notes FNF vocals are shackled you at times and kept your lyrics from shining as well as they could and deserve. This cover scratches that itch perfectly with delivery that's smooth and satisfying. Good stuff.

Means he kind of *has been trying to find Eggman.* But the reference is very good, even though, the line came from the original sonic.exe game (the same on what the video is playing), is just so good. TRULY deserves a chef's kiss.

I remember you being worried that you were taking too long in making Triple Trouble. But the over a month of time was perfect for that cover, and it being your most-watched video proves it.
This was my favorite part of the original sonic.exe game and never really expected anyone to really do anything with it besides appreciate it for what it is, but you really captured the hopelessness and acceptance Eggman feels walking towards his end. Amazing as always.

@@RWSfan2024 At a glance it seems like that, but the tone of the music playing combined how the room changes more menacingly. Until at the very end it’s blackout and deadly silent. Eggman is very smart but against Sonic.exe he didn’t even bother trying to fight against him like Knuckles or run/hide like tails. He accepted his fate and wanted to go out with some sense of self worth and went out confronting him knowing he’s going to die. The song’s Depressing tone really expresses that, I hope that helps.

So this give a completely different feel from what the other examples of "sonic.exe with lyrics" stuff give me.
While the others seem to be a possesed Sonic, or a copy cat, being evil. But this? He doesn't truly seem to be evil so much as bored out of his mind, a immortal being with nothing to do, killing to see what will happen.
Honestly the only view that makes it seem like exe is a god/god-like being, story wise.
Anyway, onto the lyrics:
Absolutely amazing, i love the lyrics and that it uses the melody(?) and the lyrics really drive in the fact that this isn't sonic, but also makes it feel like, at some level, in some way, this IS sonic.
I really like everything at and past 1:43 it is really cool sounding and is just awesome and some interesting lyrics.

I always imagined Sonic.EXE having this sinister creepy distorted voice kinda like yours in this video and now I can hear that voice! I feel this is better than your other covers. Mainly because it's a slower song your covering. The only problem with your other covers is that they are faster songs so you speed up your voice way to much to the point where you can't understand what is being said (COUGH COUGH that one part in triple trouble where xenophanes raps the entire fnaf lore).
