In the meanwhile, you should fill the floor of this cage with plenty of dry grass and dead leaves to make a cozy bed for them to walk over. Maybe also put a few branches of plants and trees around the walls of the cage to make a natural home for these birds. The pair will then begin to lay eggs in earnest. I have said this before, if you crack the corn all of your birds will get more nutrition and in turn you won’t need as much corn. I know this to be a fact, their bodies will receive more nutrients this way. Especially the Pigeons, they can’t break the corn down and the corn goes right through them. Place your wild birds in a cage with roof and put a screen /net around the area and put some nest in it like your hens. At least in a soil. They are free to walk.
The pheasants need some branches to rest on to fly to in the cage . It's bad for their feet just to walk around on the bottom of the cage. And they need bugs in different types of food also. But I love you videos thank you. I'm watching all the way from Tampa Florida.
