Hi! I believe the number of rows depends on the hook + yarn you are using. I'm crocheting it right now, if you want I can update you with my final number (I'm using a 3mm hook)

I think it's just a mix between hdc and sl st. You do one hdc and one sl st (at least that's what I'm doing)

Hi! I don't know if you are still interested in it but it's just a normal hdc and then a sl st. Hope that helps!
