omg, I can't believe you guys butchered the story so hard, lol. Like Bigg and Wedge betrayal, where the hell did that come from.. I shouldn't laugh so hard at that one
What Majikura got wrong: A List. Spoilers for FFIX, if you're planning on playing it (do, it's great). Or if you don't feel like playing the game and want a bit of extra context. - Biggs and Wedge, from what I know, aren't in FFIX. The two he was confusing them with are likely Blank and Cinna, who don't betray you at all. - Freya was not involved with the Garnet heist at the start at all. - Vivi didn't join in the heist, he just accidentally got involved and ended up tagging along for the ride. - Garnet doesn't cut her hair until disk 3. - There were explosions in Alexandria in Disk 1, but no serious damage was done to Alexandria until the start of Disk 3, when Bahamut and various monsters were sicced onto it by Kuja. - The Black Mages served Brahne, so there weren't any attacks on Alexandria by them. Brahne did use them in the ransacking of Burmecia and Cleyra. ...Also the ones on the Mist continent never complained about Vivi being a traitor. - Quina is required for the story in disc 2, and is travelling with the party because free food. I can't tell if Majikura picked s/he up in disc 1 or not, but I'm betting on the latter. - 4:41 To get out of the Mist Continent so they can chase Kuja. - By the time you meet Eiko, Garnet can't summon anything because she got her Eidolans sucked out by Zorn and Thorn. - 5:13 The only difference between Garnet and Eiko is that Eiko is a bit better at healing compared to Garnet, who has the more devastating summons. But yeah, asides from their weapons and summons, they're basically the same character from a class standpoint. - 5:25 Bonus points for that FFXV main party burn. Why are they all dressed like they're going to a funeral? -5:42 Yep, pretty much. Kuja originally made them to help stir chaos in the Mist Continent by making Brahne's conquest of it easier. - Kuja's tail is not visible until he's in his trance form. He hides it under his cloak pants. In fact, nobody realizes Kuja has a tail until disk 4, when Garland info-dumps Kuja's origins. In fact, it's Garland that explains to Zidane and the gang that Kuja is Zidane's brother. - Kuja, from what I can tell, didn't really kill any of the black mages? Didn't stop him from being a dick towards them. - Yes, Black Mages are usually referred to by their numbers in this game with the exception of Vivi and the Black Waltzes (who even then have a number at the end of their names). Also, Vivi's name is latin for life, and does not stand for five. The three black mages Majikura was referencing were the Black Waltzes. - Freya does go to Cleyra and does a riverdance to help her people hide away from Brahne's army of Black Mages and also Beatrix. It didn't work. - 6:40 Suddenly, FFVII! Majikura was probably getting the meteor confused with the planet Terra, which is trying to fuse with main plot planet of Gaia to restore Terra's civilization at the cost of Gaia's peoples. It was already going on at the start of the game, and it was one of the reasons mist was everywhere on the, well, Mist continent. - Kuja's (really Garland's) airship was actually called the Invincible. It also destroyed Garnet and Eiko's hometown of Madain Sari. - You don't actually go to Space (final dungeon Memoria does have a few space-y areas in it, but otherwise is not space). - 7:20 Nope! That was way earlier in disc 2. And it was Garnet and Steiner that got thrown into prison. Also, Amarant joins the party in the ruin of Madain Sari after a easy boss fight. Bonus points for Regal. -7:43 It was Garland who told Zidane that he's an AILIEN. Zidane had a bit of a freakout upon hearing that. - Also Kuja went on a almost-world-destroying temper tantrum after he hijacked Garland as main villain since Garland telepathically explained afterwards that Kuja doesn't have much time to live, and Kuja is like "fuck that, if I'm gonna die I'm just gonna kill everyone with my trance powers and ultima dammit". - That description of the ending is pretty accurate. Majikura just forgot about everyone's fates afterwards. Overall, Majikura has some of the major plot points down, but scrambled them all over the place and forgot Garland, the whole Terra and Gaia thing, Madain Sari, Cid, Lindblum, and uh... Yeah he forgot a lot. Now excuse me as I reconsider my life after wasting time writing this very dumb and useless comment. Do go play FFIX though.
Jeez you *butchered* that Story dude! :'D I should be mad because that's my favorite FF game ever (due to the story writing, character progression and background, battle system and music) but I am actually quite entertained (I blame the music on that :p). Just to hit on a few things: Lily and Eiko are not actually the same classwise. They both are Summoner/Whitemage hybrids but Lily leans more on the summoner side (Way more Eikons, different elementals etc) while Eiko leans harder on the Whitemage side (Better healing magic, more support spells, less Eikons but more supportive Eikons (like Carbuncle which switches effects depending on what gem you have equipped)). :p I'm also upset you didn't even mention Kujas sassyness even once! D: Guys's awsome for his attitude and deserves to be recognized! ^^
I'm pissed that i called the ship the Indestructible instead of it's actual name, the Invincible. That was the one fact I thought I knew for sure. That and river dance.
Wow! Your memory is fucking terrible! :-) in a good, cause its funny as hell. But final fantasy is definitely one of those underrated gems that appear once in every blue moon. :)
I put off watching this until I'd played the game but now I see there was no need because everything was hilariously wrong apart from character names.
knowing how wrong we are makes it even funnier
A lot of the basic plot points are there, to be fair, it's just the order of shit is all over the place
And not one mention of Jenova.
David Bowee is still the best Villain in all the Phantasy Star board games
As someone who just beat ff9 this was both funny and painful
This entire series can be summed up in: "... and then an explosion hapennnnssss?"
“And then you kill God” is basically how a ton of JRPGs end. It’s hilarious how much that cliche is overdone.
omg, I can't believe you guys butchered the story so hard, lol.
Like Bigg and Wedge betrayal, where the hell did that come from.. I shouldn't laugh so hard at that one
Quinoa is a well-fitting name for a cook....
"And then God appears."
*ZUNpets intensifies*
I'm a simple man
I see Bowie, I hit like
8:01 Star Platinum beating David Bowie (Jotaro vs Kira in a nutshell).
Even here the Persona jokes appears! 😂
Tomé Filho You could say YOU DIDN'T SEE IT COMMMING!
this IS why i subscribe to this channel :D

Great work
It's simultaneously funny and hurts to watch. AHAHAHAHA!
David Bowie for Thumbnail...good! 👍
all climaxes have EXPLOSIONS, all bosses are JENOVA or final JENOVA
Yes Yes Yes! I love the "trying to recall the plot of"s
Did you put the Moonlight Greatsword from the King's Field and Souls series at 1:17?!
that's what it is
Guyra approved.

Holy shit. This is so good.
I guess some of Freya's people living in a tree could count as a city in the sky.
Fucking necalli, man! 😂😂😂
That was gold!
Zun as god, I like your style.
6:24 This part was the most on point. :D
2:08 An explosion.... happens....?
At least you tried.
Freya is the best waifu~
Ewww a furry
Paulo Junior :Offensive to me you asshole!!!!
Wtf is that?
This one was a total disaster, I think your memories of a game have never been that terrible. xD
Parasite Eve was worse I think. It was a much shorter game with less stuff to remember and I still forgot everything.
I liked the 8-bit-theater reference with Vivi's intro. This plot is so completely wrong, I love it.
ZUN is god. makes sense.
I love these videos keep it up
This is so wrong, but so funny.
So, since you've already done FF7, 8, 9 and 10, will you cover the rest?
Amazing editing, by the way.
we've only got two more final fantasy games left in the TTR series..and it's X2 and Tactics. every other game we either skipped or never finished
Jeez you *butchered* that Story dude! :'D I should be mad because that's my favorite FF game ever (due to the story writing, character progression and background, battle system and music) but I am actually quite entertained (I blame the music on that :p).

Calling it the indestructible was the best part, though.
Lily?
The fuck is Lily
ZUN as God tho. XD
hey, but still, IX> VIIII > VII. pacmanface
oh for next title can u guys do digital devil saga :D
This is just completely wrong but its so funny
Yaaaaaaaay!
Wow! Your memory is fucking terrible! :-) in a good, cause its funny as hell. But final fantasy is definitely one of those underrated gems that appear once in every blue moon. :)
This version is much better
Quinoa, lol.
ha persona 5 battle system parody
How the hell did you butcher the game's plot worse than Dragonball Evolution, but still make it 10 times more interesting? That takes skill!
U cant recall the plot of a game that has none
Emphasis on "trying" here
I don't know what the fuck is that game but is not ff9 haAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHA
