No Dead Boys played on this. This is a demo recorded by Jimmy Zero intended to be a future Dead Boys song. The band broke up and never got to hear the song let alone record it. Zero played the tape for Bators a few years later. This was the first and only time Stiv ever heard it. None of the guys on Stiv”s Disconnected LP are playing on this either. It”s just Jimmy Zero. Recorded in June/July 1980 in Cleveland.

According to Frank Secich, War Zone" was recorded in 1981 with Jimmy Zero, Billy Sullivan and Jeff West.
