We Need A Gimmick - Nekrogoblikon - Live in Wichita, Kansas, 05/11/2024 @ The Wave

Very nearly two years after their live debut in Wichita, Nekrogoblikon is back in the ICT! Narrowly avoiding a cancelation due to a goblin-related incident with their driver (who may or may not have been eaten), the band made it just in time to deliver a crushing fourteen song set.
Since their last show in the area, Nekrogoblikon parted with founding lead singer Nicky "Scorpion" Calonne, making way for Infant Annihilator's Dickie Allen to resume harsh vocal duties. Meanwhile, longtime hype-goblin and all around nuisance John Goblikon was finally given the opportunity to co-front the band on clean vocals. Fueled by nothing but the taste for Chili's southwestern eggrolls and the occasional human skin, John has proven himself to be a worthy band member with his impressive vocals and commanding stage presence.
Still supporting their 2022 studio album 'Fundamental Slimes and Humors', Nekrogoblikon is expected to hit the studio in the near future to record new material with their recently revised lineup. Featured is a front-row view of the 2015 track 'We Need a Gimmick'; one of two singles off of the transformative album 'Heavy Meta', which helped to propel Nekrogoblikon to the level of stardom they have attained today.
