Ricky i have been doing this for close to five years now....But i can never be as good as you ! i have followed you from the beginning and you are the best in the Business Hands down ! your love for this shows and you are my favorite Channel on youtube....Great and masterful job as always ...done with class and amazing Grace!
Thanks Rob! Right back at ya... love your live play-throughs... those take some doing!; your Cloudspire series was pretty epic too. Keep up the good work; and keep gaming solo! R.R.
Watching these productively is not a casual affair. The best learning for me means I have to keep my eyes and ears glued, and my finger next to the rewind button to pick up all the information. Good stuff. Thank you, Sir.
Thank you for this series! Is the rule changed between the video and now for market refresh? Now the rulebook says that the market is refreshed at each market phase.
Engage reads, "This landmark must be revealed when explored. If a unit can attack this landmark during its attack stage, it must do so." I understand in a later update, CTG changed Engage, and split it into two different keywords: Engage of Foreboding. So, landmarks that previously had just "engage" now have been updated to say both "Engage" and "Foreboding". So, yes, this has changed; but at the time of recording it was correct ;)
this looks a lot better than the previous attempt. Now just hoping for a bit of luck with the dice roll for which path the narora take for the final wave (they don't automatically go south), and I see you getting 2 renown. If they go to the north, it could be very difficult to clear the spot of the rogue grizzled oak to be able to build there. Even if they go south, I don't think there is enough time to get your hero back with the oak for the full win with all the ranged units you need to wait for to pass by the start to safely pickup the oak.
You could be right.... the final episode is in the can; I just need to edit it now. It was tense...! Thanks for the tips previously! I hope you enjoy the finale. R.R.
great question: When attacking a spire, any amount of damage removes 1 attack or range upgrade chip from the bottom of the spire. An attack dealing 2 or more damage removes a fortification upgrade chip from the bottom of a spire. An attack cannot remove more than 1 upgrade from a spire, no matter how much damage is dealt.
More playing - less explaining! As someone who owns the game, more explaining is helpful, as someone who doesnt own a game - pure gameplay is exactly what we need! Just like driving a car, we want to see gameplay, rather than how to change tires, or open window or adjust seat. Keep up the good work!

Those dramatic zoom-ins on your 2-damage rolls are amazing

yes, there were some minor rule changes/errata in the latest printing.
Unless I’m mistaken, you don’t have to reveal the landmark with “engage”, so you can leave it for later. It is “foreboding” that’ll force a reveal.
Engage reads, "This landmark must be revealed when explored. If a unit can attack this landmark during its attack stage, it must do so."
I understand in a later update, CTG changed Engage, and split it into two different keywords: Engage of Foreboding.

@@BoxofDelights Right. Thanks for the clarification :)

Nice video 😊 In part 2 your enemy attacks your spire with 2, but you only removes one attack token, should that not have been two? 🤔

I can recommend this series; you might like it, as it plays along much more quickly than me: ua-cam.com/video/Bx6IbH2ahgQ/v-deo.html
My god. Why dont you just choose a unit that can annihilate that north spire? Round after round that is just chipping your units health away.
I was trying :) and got it in the end ;)
