Resolume comes with a handful of in-built generators - you can find them listed in the sources tab of the directory. When combined with all of Resolume’s effects, you’d be surprised with how many interesting looks you can create right out of the box.
This tutorial series will introduce you to cake projection mapping in Resolume Arena 6. You will learn everything you need to get started projection mapping in this powerful piece of software. By the end of this series, you will know how these techniques can be applied to the real-world project of mapping a 5-tier wedding cake.

Hello, and thanks for your tutorial. I would like to know why you present this tutorial with Resolume whereas you already almost did the same with MapMap and MadMapper... any differences between the tools? For a one-shot event that should not be dynamic (meaning that all the video that will be played will be defined in advance), is there a tool easier than another... and cheaper too? :) I would also be interested on a demonstration on the execution on the d-day... how do you ensure that the projector is at the right place, do you move every corner agaon just before the show (I need to know if I need to train someone to do this during my own wedding, or if I can secure that it will work very easily when in place :)

OK, I think that I got at least an explanation on my first question regarding the difference between tools with all the animations you can directly create in Resolume... not as cool as the animations you did in After Effect, but it is quick :) In parallel, I'm learning After Effect "because" of you, but I will definitely by some of your animations... any chance to get associated After Effect projects to understand how it is done?
Hi. I think you've landed on the biggest difference between MadMapper/MapMap and Resolume in your reply, aside from the latter's ability to be reactive in a live situation and that's the ability to create a huge amount of effects inside the software.
Good to hear you're learning After Effects. Unfortunately, I'm not offering my project files but I hope you'll be able to figure out my working once you start learning animation yourself.
