What is AWS?
AWS is a cloud computing service offered by Amazon. AWS lets you build, test, deploy and manage applications and services. All this is done via the data-centers and the hardware managed by Amazon. AWS provides you with a combination of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings.
You can use AWS to create Virtual Machines which can be armed with processing power, storage capacity, and analytics along with networking and device management. AWS offers you a pay-as-you-go model, which helps to avoid upfront costs and pay based on the usage monthly.

What is Cloud Computing?
Cloud computing is the delivery of on-demand computing services. From applications to processing power, usually over the internet and on a pay as you go basis. Hello, I setup an EC2 "m5zn.large" instance. It says sustained clock speeds up to 4.5GHz, but im only getting a flat 3.8GHz, under load or 100% load. Would you have any advice for me? Im using windows server 2019. I have windows now set to boot 1 processor through msconfig, and still not seeing any change in clock speeds. Do i need a different instance?
Hello Brandon. To put it simply, as they promise up to 4.5GHz, it's not always you will get an instance that can take it up to 4.5GHz. Check this thread for instance, they had a similar problem - repost.aws/questions/QU3mkTrlRRQ3m9VsSighJVYg/ec-2-m-5-2-xlarge-cpu-speed-query. Check this documentation about how to use Turbo Boost in AWS - docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/processor_state_control.html. If turbo boost doesn't work out, AWS support can help out.

i want to deploy my docker image behind ECS on a single ec2 machine.
as initially it won't have multiple ec2 machine, I wanted to skip load balancer to reduce cost, would you suggest what other way of connecting domain with SSL to ECS?

Hey Kavi, this would be a great start to learn AWS. But you need to cover more concepts in order to clear AWS Solutions Architect certification. Check out their official site and go through the topics covered once, that could give you a clear idea.

Hello Vivek, you can create it on windows for sure.
To login, use a SSH client and we would suggest usage of PuTTY. You will have to enter the public IP of your EC2 instance, upload your private key and login. Check out official AWS documentation to login to an instance via PuTTY for more information!

Hi Vamsi, this video covers all the integral AWS services. EC2, VPC, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers and also commonly asked Interview Questions. This would be of great help before interviews, but this is solely not enough to clear it. You would have to go though AWS white papers and read about services that are used in the tech stack of the company you are applying. Hope this helps 🙌
