i would highly recommend going to easy mode and just doing a jinx run to unlock the vortex glove (which then unlocks crit upgrade stuff) (and also check your objectives for any other unlocks which you want)
Hey IOKI, I'm not much of a person to prevent the learning process as it is better for info to stick in the noggin. A couple of pointers to help you through leveling would be: 1) even though the picks are random, TAB and map out what would be good for your run. With it being a solo run you have to prioritize for all roles that would normally contribute to the team. Think about Illoi, the duration for her default weapon upgrade max health also gives you the radiant item but also contributes to survivability and your tentacle regen passive, you can then stack that with cyclonic slicers which evolves with health regen (+4/lvl) and amps your natural passive amount. 2) don't let comments tell you range is bad on melee, if you can't damage them before they get to you then that means your ENTIRE SCREEN IS FULL except where your character is. 3)when an event is going to start, is when mob density increases so bravo on this vid for rushing the obj. Trying to trim in a survival is like trying to use a teacup to empty your sinking boat. 4)focus lvl1(or new) stats over upgrades (unless you're close to level 5) the game cannot give you stats that you can't fit. Therefore if your weapons are set or your stats are set, use level ups if you didn't get something useful for your character/ build. Once you are full you will only get upgrades. 5) defeating a boss mob will only reward you with upgrades, it will not give you new items. You can only get new stats/weapons on level-up. Events give you augments that give you steroids(although Riot seems to have programmed you to get "Eb&Flow" almost every time 😅 6) Edit-to-add) from what i understand there will always be 1 weapon you cant upgrade as there isnt enough upgrade distrobuted through the game to get all weapons upgraded (it will however get to lvl5) Sorry for the lengthy comment, IOKI, I really hope this helps you and when this goes live I will be tackling swarm with you, love the content, and ty for showing not just the god-run vids but also losses. Disclaimer that I'm still trying to figure things out too lol. You gotta get the yellow buffs and pick up the XP on the ground!! Also I think you should do the first yuumi quest as early as possible before the creep difficulty ramps up too much. Trying to thin the swarm out before starting the quest is futile. Also idk what others think about this, but weapon levels > stat levels. So many times you had me stressed that you were picking stat levels instead of weapon upgrades. I also think that it's probably better to fill out your weapon slots before your stat slots, but I'm not 100% on this. Love the content and watching you grind through the frustration. You got this bro!
Steps to get crit step 1 play jinx and lvl her to 25(unlocks luck glove)step 2 use unlocked glove item and get it lvl 4(unlocks passive crit) step 3 buy passive crit then have fun dealing damage till you do 40k total crit damage (unlocks crit stat card) step 4 ????? (Have fun?) Step 5 profit finally use yasuo and any other weapons using newly unlocked crit stat card! Keep at it, remember, it's not the second map, it's the 7th one, since you had 5 of normal mode before this. As for more tips: Get the rainbow buffs, free power. Not to mention you can get the car and probably get 2-3 levels out of that if you're overwhelmed. Fill up abilities and passives relatively soon. Maybe not a mad rush to get lv1 everything, and be smart about what you pick so you're not stuck with incompatible things. I'd guess pick 1-2 abilities to max when possible, especially the ones you want to evolve, and leave the 3 others at lv1. Ex. for illaoi, tentacles + tibbers or bunny blaster (since that also evolves with duration) to max, and leave whatever else you have. Same with passives. lv1 fill everything, maybe max armor and cooldown or whatever you prefer. This way, you're likely to hit one evolve relatively soon, unless you're super unlucky. The exact amount of things to max vs leave at 1 to fill slots is strategy that you need to figure out yourself, in other survivor games it worked for me though. Remember the difficulty ramps up pretty fast, so you need decent damage and survivability by minute 5 as you noticed. Pickup radius is okay for starting, but it's a bit of a bait since it doesn't give you any stats. Same with XP, although XP at least lets you get other stats faster. See what you need to unlock other passives. You could even play on lower difficulties with briar to get crit chance and area unlocked, maybe farm up some gold for the passives. And Yasuo does look like he would scale with projectile count. Also riven and illaoi seem pretty strong tbh. You can definitely finish stage 2 with one of them. Plus illaoi ult looks super fun. Keep at it, you'll need to zoom out the camera soon to accomodate the expanding brain :P Good luck!
I feel like i0ki would do amazing if he just looked at what each champion's abilities scale and evolve with, and just focused those stats. Like, skipping projectile count on Illaoi, when it synergizes with the Ult tentacles... that could have helped him alot Or, if he just kept stacking duration so that the tentacles stick around much longer, that was probably the thing that cost him the run.
From my experience with Roguelikes, when doing solo runs you want to heavy focus one close weapon and one long range weapon. Ignore the rest, and grab health/armour as "filler" when you can't improve those two weapons
Once crit unlocked Yasuo with full crit and UwU cannon is super op. Makes your tornados auto spawn rapidly and does most your damage for you. Eventually your own tornado creates a crit loop but the cannon makes it super op for single target like bosses. Until then i stuck with Illaoi because you can focus on CDR and Duration and easily solo with massive damage and really high health Regen near tentacles
I don't think you have crit unlocked yet for yasuo, but you still made solid progress regardless. Probably just need some more upgrades from the shop. Potentially try hunting for the completion quests to unlock new items/upgrades & gold, but I have faith you'll get there eventually
the name of the game is damage, always try to level the weapons first and only grab the passive stats to get the evolve criteria, or to avoid bad weapons for your character. Also, range is op on melee, especially the uwu blaster if you need single target dps. Since everything scales off ability haste that's never a terrible option and is a great boss killer.
Hey ioki since you seem to be reading the comments but you refused to read Aurora's weapon let me help you out here X). Seriously though, you were mentioning aurora didn't do any damage and that's because the projectile does very little actual damage, but it applies a hex, and every 3 casts aurora deals some pretty huge damage to all hexed targets, so rather than focusing on killing enemies with the projectiles, just try to spread them as much as possible, and eventually they'll explode on their own.
The best tip that I can give, kill as many enemies as you can in an area then start kiting the enemies to another area so that they get away from the exp orbs. Then circle back and grab those orbs. Also, please stop ignoring the golden buffs. You’re literally two steps away just ignoring them
Its a roguelike variant...focus on gold and get permanent upgrades. Also, play the characters to their strengths more. Illaoi doesnt move as much, and leona is a tank. Get max health, armor, radiant field instead of gatlin guns and stuff. Pickup radius is a bait, ability haste is universally good
Too bad you dont have crit unlocked, Yassou is crazy good, especially with UwU blaster since it at max lvl crits a LOT which triggers yassou passive to my understanding and makes his tornados crazy strong❤
Your weapons should be able to cover the weakness of your champ, ie Illaoi you need to be getting some ranged weapons to be able to cover your short falls otherwise you will get to big of a swarm around you to escape if needed. I usually try to get uwu baster with projectile upgrade on most champs since its constant damage and it scales with more projectiles
Hey ioki i dont know if it works but for not having yuumi quest in a corner or a tunnel maybe go there directly at the start of the game so it doesn't spawn there. I think the quest spawn away from you so i will be in a better spot !

So far, as far as I can tell, Seraphine is by far the most powerful character. Her basic weapon and 2 cooldowns are very, very strong. Ability Haste and Weapons that synergize with Ability Haste are essential, especially UwU for single target damage. +Projectiles is good too and synergizes with her base abil. The boomerang thing evolved is also super strong. Always get your weapons and the base of their synergy skills, level the weapons to 5 as fast as possible, and upgrade them to the evolved form. This game is basically the same exact game as vampire survivors lol.
Nah Yasuo is easily the strongest with uwu blaster making his evolved tornadoes absolutely crazy. For best weapon alone it's statikk sword, it's evolve does both single target dps decently well and has crazy good aoe.
for solo Leona is by far the strongest, if you get the tank stat passives she doesn't die to anything but bosses, which you can kite and shield when you get stuck. for teamplay i've seen yasuo's do the most but honestly anything can do a lot if you pick the right weapons
I believe in you keep trying, get those MF powerups, you keep walking past them as if you can't see them, also, i dont know if this is good advice or not, but try to stick with a champion and buy upgrades with gold for that champion. Dont give up. Keep the videos coming!

Besides doing aatrox with jinx solo everything is low dif, you understand that there's upg definitely better than others and realise there's not as many viable choice. The mode really needs harder maps. Ps without giving too much away, please stay away from pickup radius, it's neither a defensive or offensive stat. And you're making 2 big mistakes while playing illaoi reread her abilities.
You really need to focus on dodging all projectiles. Several times I've seen you walk straight thru a wave or multiple boss orbs to pick up cards etc. Also try to treat all exp orbs as the upmost importance. If you walk in a horizontal figure 8 you should be able to collect orbs after your tentacles clear an area (or at least thin it out). One last thing to try would be to bum rush the exterior edge of the whole map to grab as much gold as possible to upgrade your passives instead of wasting your time with the mosquitoes. ;)
Ioki pls upgrade your weapons. If you can one shot them they can’t one shot u. As you see even if you armor is maxed you still get one shotted. If your weapon is evolved like tibbers they do a lot of damage….
Bruh yasu is the one that can chsese the entire swarm with 4 things uwu blast + crit + projectile count + yasu steel tempest = ifinite tornedo with isane dmg can melt boss under a minute
Yasuo is supposed to take projectile count and uwu blaster. The uwu blaster crits and in this mode you get more tornadoes for crits. More projectiles = more tornadoes = more crit = even more tornadoes. I have literally seen yasuo one tap the final boss solo on extreme mode with that setup. Absolutely nuts. Also u dont have crit chance unlocked XD

i don't think you are playing around the characters kit enough, illaoi heals based on the tentacles around her and you are constantly moving for example
Also it's better to prioritize augments that scale with your weapons or weapons that scale with the stats you want early, vs trying to max out a weapon since you have a limited amount of argument slots
I'm half way through, but what I'm seeing is that you're taking way too long on activating the first Yuumi quest. You're literally waiting for the boss to spawn before starting it, which makes it harder. Just do the quest as soon as it pops up, when theres less enemies and no boss following you.
PICK THE EXP BUFF PLEEEEEEASE !!! My god man, EXP upgrades are TOP TIER in this kind of games, it's purely logical... Especially in hard mode, when you not able to gather as much... Same as gathering EXP as quickly as you can in the beginning so you can get the upper hand ASAP and before things start getting intense, which in hard mode is like 3 minutes in... I'm sorry man but I gotta say... It's been really annoying not to see you take the EXP buff, you didn't in the last video and you keep doing it in this one... Like, how quickly did you forget that you were told that it's really good??? I get that there are other upgrades and what not, but believe me, it's worth it!

As someome who has beaten aatrox on extreme with everyone but jinx. Every single champ can hard carry solo. Most of them you legit dont even have to move. Do yourself a favor. Stop insta queueing and look at the objectives on story and hard mode and prioritize them. Go to story and PLEASE do the quests this is painful at this point. Watching ya try to get crit chance when you dont have it unlocked is just so AAAAAAH
Bruh ioki. You literally run from the MF buffs which offers some awesome escape tools. Also, man you will leave upgrade cards just lying around and avoid them. You have to use that map awareness you do on league here man. Pay attention to thise surrounds, get those cards, and for the love of god, take advantage of the MF buffs hahahaha
Man, why do you run away from exp all the time... whats from killing minions if you don't pick up that sweet experience to lvl up? Also taking boss cards before you are able to evolve ability is a waste, you should avoid picking up cards before your ability is lvl 5

When that rainbow wave appears it means there's a boon nearby, the boons are always good and take very little time to pick up.

I highly recommend choosing projectiles. It will make a massive difference later in the game
especially on champions that don't have any native ranged abilities.

Melee Champions with Ranged Weapon is bad is a misconception. For instance (Yasuo + Uwu Blaster + Projectile Count) is a match made in heaven.

Also it's better to prioritize augments that scale with your weapons or weapons that scale with the stats you want early, vs trying to max out a weapon since you have a limited amount of argument slots

I'm half way through, but what I'm seeing is that you're taking way too long on activating the first Yuumi quest. You're literally waiting for the boss to spawn before starting it, which makes it harder. Just do the quest as soon as it pops up, when theres less enemies and no boss following you.
PICK THE EXP BUFF PLEEEEEEASE !!! My god man, EXP upgrades are TOP TIER in this kind of games, it's purely logical... Especially in hard mode, when you not able to gather as much... Same as gathering EXP as quickly as you can in the beginning so you can get the upper hand ASAP and before things start getting intense, which in hard mode is like 3 minutes in... I'm sorry man but I gotta say... It's been really annoying not to see you take the EXP buff, you didn't in the last video and you keep doing it in this one... Like, how quickly did you forget that you were told that it's really good??? I get that there are other upgrades and what not, but believe me, it's worth it!
PS: just as I came here to write the comment, after continuing the video, you immediately picked the EXP 🤣 but I still stand by what I said and hopefully you'll make the same investment as you just did 🤞 good luck!

As someome who has beaten aatrox on extreme with everyone but jinx. Every single champ can hard carry solo. Most of them you legit dont even have to move. Do yourself a favor. Stop insta queueing and look at the objectives on story and hard mode and prioritize them. Go to story and PLEASE do the quests this is painful at this point. Watching ya try to get crit chance when you dont have it unlocked is just so AAAAAAH
Bruh ioki. You literally run from the MF buffs which offers some awesome escape tools. Also, man you will leave upgrade cards just lying around and avoid them. You have to use that map awareness you do on league here man. Pay attention to thise surrounds, get those cards, and for the love of god, take advantage of the MF buffs hahahaha

Ioki everytime you see exp take it. It's really important to lvl up so you can upgrade ur stuffs quickly
Man, why do you run away from exp all the time... whats from killing minions if you don't pick up that sweet experience to lvl up? Also taking boss cards before you are able to evolve ability is a waste, you should avoid picking up cards before your ability is lvl 5
