There is one use-case: If you have speed advantage and cast expert haste, you can basically rush the enemy powerstack: Ghost dragons aging + dread knights deathblow and curse + a hit with the vampire lord stack and the enemy might just lose 80% of their powerstack before they've had a chance to move. In fact, I've seen a situation just like that in a game lexiav played a few years ago.
Bad unit in straight fight, but cheap, mobile, could be resurrected without earth magic. It has another role: age some brave enemy stack and vanish with other units or wait and kill ranged unit. Also has possibility to kite - like enemy has alive slow stack(even speed 7-8) and you have solid mana left.
Great analysis! Ghost Dragons do have their strengths in specific scenarios. Their ability to age enemy units and their mobility can be game-changers in the right hands.
I guess if you play necropolis you wouldn't count on the ghost dragons but still, I didn't expect they'd do so bad 😂😂 necropolis are still my favorites anyway
Necropolis has its unique strengths, and Ghost Dragons can be situationally powerful. It's great to hear that Necropolis is your favorite! Thanks for sharing.
Same result anyway. this test doesn't include morale, and morale can be a gamechanger in real game. May be at least 3 stacks of ghost, and 1 stack of hydra, fenix and coatles? They might win.
Good point about morale! I checked in my test and the -1 morale is actually applied, but negated by the +1 morale given by all All troops of 1 alignment.

Ghost dragons : we will drain years of your life !
Everyone else : we need no more than five minutes to slaughter you.
😂 That's a hilarious take! Ghost Dragons do have their unique charm, but they definitely face some tough competition. Thanks for the laugh!

Ghost Dragons are not the reason why Necropolis is the favorite faction of my brother.

single stack fight might finish in different results... it all depends on RNG with them. also 2w out of 3 battles for better results

@АлексейЗахарченко-о8с i was thinking about age skill.. full stack vs full stack(aged) could change the outcome.
@@MrLuckymica yeah, for this test you can use 1+1+1+17 ghosts vs 20 t7) that will be gamechanger
Absolutely, RNG can play a big role in these battles. It's always interesting to see how different outcomes can occur based on luck and strategy.

Not the best unit in the game, is it.
Ghost Dragons do have their challenges.
