I was diagnosed on Memorial Day 2012. My body went totally numb, yet I managed to drive myself to the hospital. I got 2 spinal taps (goddamn, that shit hurt) and was given the news. I'm fine though, still working out, and all that good stuff. Some people have it worse than others though..

Can’t wait for the full interview! I love Masta Ace, I follow his IG, he, his wife and daughter - beautiful family. Ace live is amazing, I saw him for the first time at Jazz Cafe in London in 2019, and on stage he talked about MS and I was so inspired and proud that he talked about it in such a positive way, I have a debilitating disease too, and often miss out on going to shows. He even greeted fan’s after the show and took photos! I got a photo with Masta Ace man!! Shout out my mum who took the pic😊. One of the best live shows we’ve ever been to.

i wholeheartedly agree. i've been saying this. if you look at ma's discography and how productive he's been throughout his carrer there is no doubt he is the actual most underrated rapper.

Back in 2018 when Breukelen Story dropped, I hopped on the latest Uproxx video and posted about inviting Masta Ace.

Ace a huge inspiration to me. I don’t have it as bad as Ace, but I hurt my neck and my lower back spine. My neck was an issue because i hurt my spinal cord and it shut down everything neck down. It took me a long ass time rehabing, and I always feel some kind of neurological symptoms now. But I can jog, lift weights etc. again. Maybe not at level before, but I never give up.
I listen to Ace when I work out or commute, and gives me alot of strength
I literally think about this guy almost everyday, completely one of my favorite rappers ever ‼️… you got this Ace‼️👌🏽💯💯💯
I’ve seen Masta Ace live 3 times every show amazing never had an idea he was battling a health condition. You never know what people are going through so it’s important to be kind.
