I see the big difference in that a solo Neil plays the guitar, blows his harp and stamps out the base on some sort of percussion floor, somehow providing an entire band sound. But that would require going all in on the Neil Young style. It doesn’t hurt that he’s one of the greatest melody makers and songwriters either.
I am so impressed by all of your talents and now you have shown us that harmonica is also in your arsenal. I like a lot of Neil Young songs, but I can only stand so much of his whiny, nasal tone at a time. You made this song so much more listenable to me. As always you were great.
