This is different, uses different strats from other streamers and explains exactly how and why they help. You're a sick player but a hugely under rated coach. Keep them coming man, it's the only way to get your valuable tips out there!
I like that he explains alternatives too and when and why you might choose to use them. Agreed on what a great coach he is. I’m a pretty decent Champs player but this video sort of made me think about why I do some of the things I do, while also making me consider trying other things.
This young man would actually be a good coach for a Jr team (to start). He has great vision and a real eye and brain for hockey and what hes saying can absolutely be put into real wotld strategy and execution...

Straight up I ain’t even gonna lie yo, but the strategy guide you just helped me with in this video was absolutely helpful 100% I honestly was losing every game even playing against all-star ai games, but now I’m back to doing what I do in the game, winning!!!! Not to mention I am now dominating in rivals as well!! Thanks man seriously I was hating this game and only playing chel because of it but because of your help I’m back to enjoying the game, thanks so much man I did subscribe and liked the vid!!
9 months later I was having problems getting back into rivals. Switched to your suggestions a couple hours ago and I have been steamrolling everyone since, and have already been promoted a division. Great advice.

I'm currently 18-0 after switching my strats to these. I finally see my players in the position I want them to be. Pressuring the puck when it's in their vicinity it's amazing thank you so much .

great video sap, def gotta play a bit different this year, went from a div 1 15 win guy to div 3 struggling to get 12 wins. just gotta play smarter now that the o zone plays don't set up as well this year

Would you recommend classic camera as well? Dynamic high feels a bit to close not allowing full view of all players on the ice.
Personally I'd suggest Zone over classic. Classic is kind of a hybrid of Zone + Dynamic high IMO, but in a way that doesn't work well. Remember, these are just suggestions. Obviously use what's best for you.

I have been trying so many other streamers strats and still struggling someone shouted you out on a fb group for nhl so gonna give yours a go but regardless will drop you a follow
Hey thanks for the insight. How would you shut down or at least get past cr over 1100 players who are so aggressive you cant move. I need some advice bc I consider myself a decent player and when i face them its impossible to win face-offs, hit, or even poke yet they win everything and poke or hit effortlessly.
My advice would be to try your best to move the puck quicker and think about what your options are after making that first pass, whether its another pass or maybe a shot. Recognize if there is space available and take it.

I run overload. Was trying to get 1-3-1 to work but the AI is a bit lost on it.

What is the cycle/shoot slider doing on the offensive lines in your opinion?
From my experience, if the slider is on cycle, the players will be moving more. if the slider is on shoot, then the players will be set up with their bodies open and square to the net so they can shoot right away
@@Sapsterrso if you take a lot off point shots, and are looking for deflections, it is best to have the forwards on full cycle, so they are looking at the shooter?

Why on Franchise mode these team strategies are grayed out and unchangeable?
Those are dependent on your coach.
Do you still use these strategies? Or did you tweak these?
my problem with this type of video is that it implies that this is the only way to go... every strat has a counter. waiting for the video on any channel... the counter to all. The White Elephant video.
Can you schow powerplay strategy ? Whic is the best. You didnt mention it. 😊
I use the overload Powerplay set up. Look for a deflection at the goal crease.

Mostly, yes. the sliders are the same but ive switched to Behind the net.
Nobody does pk strategies tho 😢

i have identical strategies as you except i have never maxed out dump before, it's always on carry because i always carry the puck across the line and never actually dump it. But you're saying my team will play at a higher rate on max dump?
In my experience they will hit the line with speed more and will accelerate through the D so you can get behind them. Helps open up little 2 on 1s off the zone entry.

Powerplay strats ?
Overload.
My defenders are always skating upwards not even towards opponent player, when the play turns. Leaving them all alone. I've tried multiple strategies, nothing helps.. 😢
Could you do a video about the importance of gliding, and the best way to do it? People ask this question of the best players and I don't think they realize what is being asked, they don't even realize they glide. A large group of us skate everywhere, and when we glide we lose momentum. It comes naturally to the good players, but I think it's the biggest difference between good players and average too bad.
I'll explain the importance of gliding while talking about concepts in "how to score" and "how to play defence" videos. I'm not sure a whole video around it makes sense.
But yeah, gliding is important on both sides of the puck. On defence it allows you to keep pace with an attacking forward and on offence, gliding or changing speeds is one of the most important things in order to create space.
There’s also the “brace” button that works when gliding to help from being pushed off the puck. Saw that in the controls and going to try to implement it and see if it works

May I ask what goalie do you use and what are your thoughts on synergies?
I'm using Linus Ullmark right now because of his defensive boost synergy. Synergies are important, but IMO I wouldn't construct an entire team for a synergy
Great contacts, I had switched to weeks ago to your strategies. And was winning a ton of games, then all of a sudden when they put the new 1.22 patch in everything changed, and the guys are not attacking the puck like they were before and I have not changed anything in my strategies. Thoughts?
Before the video 8 loses in a row almost from division 3 too 4 after the video 10 games undefeated and now in division 2 you deserve way more subscribers
