@@ShadowDemon_4 actually they said they'd planned it for the 10th anniversary, but their schedule didnt exactly allow it to come to fruition. but they continued on with planning the song anyways. they had no idea it would be a send off since they said they didnt know mat was going to retire at all. but is glad it could represent that now!

As someone who has been with Game Theory since a few years past its inception, this song rang so true to the whole experience of what a wild as hell journey Matpat and the Theorist Crew have been through, from analyzing virtual breasts and Time Travel, to an insane 4 channel structure analyzing everything from FNAF, Chicken Nuggets, Killer Shoes, and Hulk's incredible pants XD. Here's to 11 crazy years and the many many more to come

heres my question. how do you know how to play a drum beat to this song so well with this being the first time youlistened to it? like do you learn the drum beat before listening to it? is there like sheet music or somthing like that in front of you while you listen? or do you just have every single possible drum beat memorized so that you pick whichever one meshes the best with the song and use intution to know when to change it? like seriously how are you so good at playing the drums to a song youve never heard beofore
I think he’s explained its a bunch of factors, especially experience. He’s just played the drums a lot at this point - I could be wrong though
