  • Part 1 of a series of videos on our trip to the Desert & the Flinders Ranges. Part one is a little boring as its just us smashing out the k's to get out west. Keep a eye out for the remaining parts to the series.
Also checkout Big Bike Adventures for Steve's Videos.

Big Bike Adventures sent me over. Loving your trip. Very envious here in Nor-Cal.

    "Maintenance Device" HaHaHaHa!
I'm surprised by how green it is out there. As you say, all around the New England Highway region up and down the coast is bone dry!
I love the transition into the desert so far. It's something I haven't done yet, only going as far west as Roma a few times. I have followed that sort of route on Google Maps though, looking longingly out there and dreaming of future adventures.

MrAusAdventure you could quite easily get all the way to Innamincka on your Vstrom. All the dirt is fairly well graded dirt high way. Just have to be careful if you venture off to the Dig Tree as there are sections of Bulldust & soft sand.

@@ADVRydrBloke Thanks mate. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I looked into it a few years ago as I was half thinking of meeting a few blokes from Melbourne as they were heading up through Innamincka to Birdsville to do the Simpson. Pretty sure I'd want a different bike to go any further than that. lol

Hello , How are you recording audio on a session GoPro? Sounds like you have an internal mic? thanks

I record the audio to the hero3 on my handle bars using a Sena Gopro Backback. It Bluetooths to my Sena headset in the helmet.

Nice one Chris. How good does Steve's AT sound. Do you think his fuel economy has anything to do with his heavy right hand lololol. Looking forward to the next installments when u hit the dirt. Cheers.

Return Rider its a bit obnoxious. I had to stay like 100m behind when we hit the hills.

Return Rider nothing like the sound of your own bike playing through the intercom of the bike 200meters behind you. 😂😂😂

@@BigBikeAdventures yeah I don't mind a bit of travelling music myself.

So you start out with a rider undertaking you, then overtaking across double centre lines? I’m no saint, but mate, some things don’t need to be on video for all to see.

    • @ADVRydrBloke

He did not overtake on double center lines mate. There is a overtaking broken line just as he pulls out. And I slowed to let him passed.

Joe Morgan yes too true. Unfortunately we have to travel many many hours on the stuff to get where we’re going. Part 2 we hit the dirt.
