that solo you mentioned reminds me a lot APC off mer de noms. Love this song though..friggin amazing! That song and really this album is an experience.
Nice video. It’s awesome how we all hear different things out of the same music. As someone who has listened to all of chevelle’s discography time and time again, I jumped right into this record and felt that they sounded like themselves, just a bit more angry..? Or something of that kind. I also noticed a more mature sound in the instrumental tones, but the progression of the songs still struck true “Chevelle” to me. I liked the things you pointed out though. Awesome record. So glad to see guys like Chevelle still putting out great music.
@@sarfi1012 yes. Consistency is one thing I value more and more in musicians. Keep most of your old sound, but push it a little each time. Makes for great records and happy fans.
Excellent reaction brother! So Long Mother Earth is now probably my favorite song by them! Other great Chevelle songs besides the obvious: Ruse Roswell's Spell Revenge Leto's Headache
As a listener of Chevelle since Point #1, and an ex guitarist who played in multiple metal bands, this song is the best song they have ever written. The guitar on this song shows how complex Pete's guitar work has gotten. It's very difficult to play those riffs at the speed he's playing all while singing at the same time. And the drums on this song are insane! Sam created a simple but super complex drum track, with multiple fills, with highs, lows, and shifts in timing. The base compliments them both, rounding out an incredible rhythm section. They really should win a GRAMMY for this song. I hope they get recognized for it. It truly is some of thier best work. I hope they continue to write music too, they were just released from their record label and wondering if they should still write music - I hope they go independent, they don't need a label at all.
I felt sci-fi crimes was a pretty exceptional album. I feel like Chevelle would be insane with another member. They're only a trio so it's pretty impressive.
Good album. Very balanced. Apparently the time it took to get this made, they have enough material for two more albums. NIRATIAS: Nothing Is Real And This Is A Simulation.
Haha I know what you mean. . . My wife doesn't understand how I can enjoy songs without really getting deep into the lyrics. Chevelle has very, very few I have to do that with.
I'm trying to listen to the rest of the album but I can't get passed this song
That is the best song they have ever written it touches your heart once you understand the lyrics
It's most certainly a powerful piece of music. Without question

The best album they've ever made.

as an individual track, this is one of the best songs, emotional, just a friggin awesome song...
Every song is amazing.

Solid album for sure bro
Do Chevelle: Leto's Headache and This Circus
This circuuusss 😍
Both are great. . . Leto's Headache is a hidden gem, for sure!

React to Self-Destructor as well,it's pretty different.
Decent track this. I feel like it needed a bit more oomph though. Guitars sounded almost too polished.
There's a few unfortunate "woke" moments on this album but overall it's grown on me. I just ignore lyrics😏
