Heard a story about AC coming in and playing it right off on the first take, and the recording bloke said, "I thing we might be able to come up with something better..." etc., etc., and they did a bunch of other takes and used the very first one on the recording. Don't know if it's true, but it has the sound of truth to it. Regardless, JB is one of the stellar hornists of the universe.
