- Hey everyone! This is my rendition of my favorite hymn "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" but I write my own songs as well. While I love all the support I get around the holidays for this cover, check out my latest single, "Black Tears" on Spotify if you want to hear what I'm doing right now.

Best version I've heard. Staying true to the song's theme while still being creative. I don't like it when singers try to be extra to this song. This song doesn't need it.

I love this song. It's my favourite carol, because of how it conveys the longing for the Messiah to come, which is to me the fundamental significance of Christmas. That in our despair and sin, Jesus came and rescued us. That's something I think is missing from many carols. Never mind all the lyrical fluff about winter, and poetic lines that are purely that - poetic, for poetic's sake. Jesus probably wasn't born in winter. I'd rather sing about the raw significance of Christmas, without the unnecessary poetry. This rendition is stunning. (And on a shallower note, I love her hair).

Right next to the cathedral in my city, there is this small chapel. The entire building is no bigger than a small two story house.
Next to the massive cathedral, it almost looks like a tool shed next to a normal house.
There are no sermons held there, but it's open during the day.
It's a thousand years old, built by architects from Konstantinople.
It has a reverb lasting 7 seconds.
A single voice sounds like a choir in there.

Because she has a beautiful voice, like hundreds of thousands of people in the world, BUT she seems more occupied with looking her best, than give meaning to the words. She could sing gibberish, instead of such deep things. Ruined it for me.

Anna would make a wonderful Cleopatra - especially in a musical about the Egyptian Leader.....yes..I do understand this song...but still she would be perfect to portray Cleopatra
She is very pretty. Her voice is decent. I'm a vocalist, but seriously, do people not see there is a ton of filtering happening here at best? The setting is a peaceful garage with twinkle lights. Really? Her voice has no realistic echo or range, her expression is completely limp. I don't want to hate on an artist, but this version is purely for clicks . This song is millenia old, and someone's grandchild could sing this with more passion. I truly don't understand why some videos get the clicks; I checked this one to compare to my middle schoolers. Very accomplished post production team though, for sure.

Personally this new revelation I had today sounds like a heart that is deceitful and desperately wicked which is just what sin does to someone who becomes lost in it instead of being what the Truth wants for us which is set free and become the word found as it is sung in Amazing Grace I once was lost but now am found was blind but now I see. It truly is amazing that the God of Heaven will indeed give revelations that open the eyes of the Believers He makes born again He will give you understanding which also happened with the pagan unbeliever named Nebuchadnezzar years ago in the time of Daniel. It is indeed a fact a heart that is deceitful and wicked truth be told would indeed deny the Truth that is Jesus Christ before men indeed. After all, with that being said its like how things can really relate to each other indeed in the word rhyme.

Satan's tyranny would be what Jesus Christ spoke about men loving darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil that's what tyranny truly is in reality its all very wicked abominable and despicable is what it truly is nothing more it is not good nor does benefit anyone with the evils it truly causes. Just goes to show why the Holy Spirit reproves the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment. Morally and spiritually speaking He is in a way like the conscience named Jiminy Cricket in Disney's Pinocchio in teaching us what is right and what is wrong what God loves and what He hates. And how He brings about change in the lives of His born again believers Whom He has washed in His Son's atoning and redeeming blood.

Hello Keith- Anna's producer/manager responding. Thanks for getting in touch. It was certainly a thrill for Anna to perform in that church in December, and it was a thrill for me to watch her perform there. Anna and I both have an affinity for the hymn, so it was only natural for us to record it. And yes, we made a conscious decision to go back to the earlier translations. Believe it or not, we've actually not seen any of the ITV program from Christmas Eve, so we'd certainly pay to download video of her performance as well!. Anna and the band will be in England for a tour in April (we're finalizing dates now), so we hope to see you.
