This video shows the basic operation of a plow mixer. Although a little old as far as image quality goes, it still gives a great view of the plows and choppers. A vessel like this can mix, dry, react, add liquids, agglomerate, and more. In most cases, a plow mixer replaces multiple pieces of equipment, operates with a lower cycle time, and reduces material cost by requiring less liquid be injected (think less color, less oil, less fat, etc) with the same output saturation.
