I'm glad he cut down on a lot of the stick tricks. He used to do them constantly in his resting hand, which made them kinda boring, cause he was doing them all the time. Now, he focuses more on keeping his drumming fresh, with the occasional stick trick. So stuff like 2:43 is super hype.
I love that snare sound. The sticks look like they're floating in his hands! Amazing effortless stick control. It's strangely fun to re-watch again in mute too just to watch the sticks fly around.

For now the Stagg DH china works great, it is just really trashy. My favorite china from zildjian would be the 18 inch oriental trash china.
