Indian bowlers bowled well. The difference between Chennai and Kanpur on the first day was that the ball was swinging and seaming in Chennai whereas there was only seam movement in Lucknow. Moreover, the black soil in Lucknow did not offer much bounce unlike Chennai.

The conditions were overcast but ,the pitch is not a green top .On the contrary it's slow and low .All the help was from condition not the pitch.Apart from Shanto ,all batters were playing in survival mode .Mominul was very streaky and a bit lucky with LBW calls ,otherwise it would have 4-5 wickets for India .And also I think Yash Dayal would have suited more for these conditions than Siraj .The match looks perfectly in balance as of now.
