In this video, I am talking about the SOLERA FLAMENCA STRINGS.
As I mentioned in the video, I have just received these beautiful strings from the famous guitar shop in Barcelona called "Solera Flamenca". They recently started their own brand of strings, which I have to say, is really sounding great!
Video Contents:
1- Intro: (00:00 - 1:03)

13- Video Outro: (17:24 - 18:19)
I am not going to say anything like, "You have to have them right now!" type of advertisement. Instead I decided to just record with them a few melodies, where you can listen for yourself, and then decide whether to go for them or not, or whether it's your type of sound or not.
What I can say on the other hand, is that I really did like them a lot! I have to wait and see how the basses age, and then I can have a more informed result. But for now, I'm enjoying their sound! (as you're watching this video probably!) Haha
I hope you like this video, or these types of videos.
If you do, you can let me know in the comments section down below, and I'll consider to make more of them in the future.
As for now, have a great day/evening, and I hope to see you next time in my next video.
Stay safe,
Cheers!

They sound super nice..
Your playing is as usual.
Sublime.........
Thank you Kevin! You will not be disappointed I promise.
Cheers!
Maestro !! Thank you for this video. Your tip for changing the strings is priceless ! When I changed the strings I had to pay attention to the nuts because I was changing all the strings at once.
You're welcome. I totally understand, they both fall off and it's annoying to put them back every time. Haha
I'm glad.
Cheers!
Maestro! Your are always great! I also ordered these strings and waiting for them. I trust solera's experience as it is players' experience and not just marketing.
Thank you Andreas! I am curious to hear your opinion after you try them.
Cheers!
Thank you for your guidance maestro. 🙏

Love your style, Luciano

Thank you Boban!
Your playing is really beautiful, I would love if you did a video or series on your favorite chords and scales you use to get that sound.
Thank you! Something to keep in mind ok,
Cheers!
You made everything looks easy 😂😂
Thank you for playing 🖤🖤💯
I try, but it's not even for me! Haha
Cheers!
You are truly one of the most charismatic people I have seen on UA-cam. You re truly an enrichtment for Flamenco with your beautiful unique sound Sir. Let me ask you would you prefer this strings over the knobloch ones my friend?
Thank you very much Jascha! Interesting question. I don't want to say I don't like Knobloch now all of a sudden, I used them for a very long time, they have never let me down, and I love them. But if I had to choose in terms of sound quality, comfortability, I would choose Solera Flamenca. 🙏
Thank you very much for your honest answer! I will try them out. I really appreciate you! For me you belong next to the greatest.
Grande Maestro
Thank you Georges!
Fantastic sound. I will try them once there is an importer here in UK. Of course I must say that your playing is of such high quality and I do not recognise your guitar but it must be exceptional. I will watch.
Muchas gracias Tomas! Por escribir también en Español.
I will reply to you in English since I read you are in the UK.
The guitar I am playing on in this video is a Lester DeVoe from the year 1990, with Indian Rosewood and a German Spruce Top. It's a great guitar indeed!
Thank you for watching, and I would be happy and curious to know what you think if you ever try these strings.
Cheers!
i don't care if next week he's playing 'Kshitlochs' with a silent K, im sold
🤣🤣🤣 Love that! KThanks!
thanks for this useful informations , i have a question please what is your microphone you are using in this video ?
Great sound string with played with golden hand muchas gracias luciano Olee ati Maestro
Muchas gracias amigo.
Un abrazo!
very nice!
Thanks!
These sound very nice, great tone and response, intonation sounds good too! I currently use either Savarez Cantiga (Medium), or Luthier 20s (which are now hard to find), on my two Antonio Marin Montero peg head blanca guitars. I will definitely give these a try. Thanks Luciano for the excellent demo!
can you find them somewhere? my Luthier told me he'd tried hundreds on his guitar and recommended them--but when I tried to get some, they were gone.
@@mackhomie6 I think they went out of business, I have only one set remaining!
Thank you! Well it's interesting that you mentioned these strings.
that company passed away unfortunately.
Which is why the Solera Flamenca started their brand (in a way), because they lost their favourite strings.
So what they did was, try to copy and make their strings to sound and feel like the Luthier. (Which they did, and even better in my opinion. Basses last longer and the balance in tension is perfect!)
Now, someone bought the company of Luthier and are re-opening again, but from what I've heard, they are not the same anymore unfortunately.. But that's no problem, as I'm sticking with the Solera strings!
Cheers!
Many thanks for this information. I will certainly try these 'Solera' strings. Thanks again for the fantastic videos, please keep them coming!
Personaly I like the LaBella's 820 I use better, but I guess as with all things personal preference is also a thing here, love as always your playing, big fan ❤❤❤
Ole tu Maestro!!!! Greetings from Greece.
I love your guitar sound! What model it is? How can I find this guitar?
Well now you have to do a cover of Tierra, with these amazing strings and your playing I bet it will sound amazing. 😄
Let's see, I could say it will go so so well for sure!
This is coming at a great time and will save me money trying them out! I have one question, since these strings are a bit more flexible, is there any excessive buzzing from 4th string (or others)? I thought I heard something during one of the tunings but wasn't sure. It could be my device exaggerating frequencies.
I'm glad! Yes, this is mostly from my guitar and not the strings though, I like to keep the action low and I love this buzzing sound, it makes it a little more flamenco.
Cheers!
Hola👌
It's been one month already
How about the tension of the strings?
Are they the same as new? Should we still buy 2 set of strings to match the tension?
Thank you for your time ❤️
Big fan
How do you feel the tensions in the fingers compared to let's say Hannabach hard tension, or Savarez hard tension ? Amazing playing by the way, you could be playing shoe laces tied to the guitar and it would sound great too =)
Ohh my ghosh..
Heyy I just bought Cordoba F10 flamenco do u think it's a good buy ?
Sure!

Gracias luciano
The basses are great, on m y guitar, a Contreras doble tapa cedar top. The trembles very weak. I guess all guitars do not need the same strings.
Of course each guitar will sound different, we cannot put all the pressure on the strings themselves and just hope it will make it sound 10 times better, but we need to make the guitar sound at its best. That's what I think happened with mine when I put these strings on.
Cheers! Thanks for watching!
Who's gone on ebay buying the strings right after video ?!
Thank you for the trust Ed, they really are amazing strings! Let me know how it turns out for you.
Cheers!
Knobloch nylons or the carbons? For me i tried the carbons which are mind blowing compared to any other carbon strings or string ive ever tried, but i am curious about the nylons
@@Fabishko_Guitar Nylon
And the carbon ones are also very good. It is a very good brand. It is a matter of taste.
@@danidaniel866 dale probaré los nylon entonces! Gracias por el consejo 🤙
i got you're not putting off releasing your album trying for the perfect flamenco CD. if you've got to poison a couple students to give yourself more time, then so be it
🤣🤣🤣
