This song reminds me of one neighbour brother who was elder to me. He was young and in love with a girl. He used to talk with his lover on phone for long hours. I was a kid then and I used to listen him sing this song on phone for her. Lo and behold, they got married. But the fate had something in store for them. They got separated . Right now that brother has completely immersed himself in brown sugar's addiction. He is destroying his life. "Saiyaan" means a "lover" to others but for me "Saiyaan" means that young brother who was completely free of intoxicant drugs, who was innocent and deep in love. I hope one day he will overcome his addiction and be that nice guy again.
Update : He was brutally murdered in Delhi this year on March 2023.
