Nice to see that some of the people harvest the rain water. I wonder why the ones that don't harvest the water, why they don't do it. If they can't afford rain gutters made of metal or plastic, couldn't they get bamboo, split it and make gutters out of the bamboo?

Batdombong was feared and hated by the vietnamese occupiers and its puppet regime during the occupation from 1979 to 1989. This place had seen some of the most brutal and bloodiest battles in the country, ones that broke the vietnamese invaders and finally withdrew in 1989.
It seems that they are being punished economically by the regime. However poor, people of Batdombong have enjoyed the reputation of being a strong wills and free spirits who would never hesitate to sacrifice to defend what they believe in.
