Sir, the main hurdle of muslims in secular societies is sharia law practice. This has 2 aspects. 1. Muslims are unhappy that they are not able to practice sharia law. 2. Secular societies are unhappy that muslims are unwilling to follow secular laws applicable to all.A major consequence is that muslims are unable to assimilate themselves with secular societies and an environment of mutual distrust,insecurity,and fear prevails.
