I really liked this backtracking, especially that pause on the Dm, It took me by surprise but it was really fun. One question, would you recommend listening to all the backtracking first and then soloing, or put the backtracking and improvise? At the moment I only do the second option, but I realized that at certain times I could enjoy song better if I already knew what would happen, for example this pause in the Dm, as I don't look at the screen I didn't know it would happen, I still managed to take advantage of it and it was really cool, but if I already knew about it I could do something more, anyway, what do you think?

How about both? Solo over it without listening to it first. Then try again after you know what to expect. I would go further still and locate any problem spots to practice chords / scales etc, then have another go at it. Real improvement comes when you take the time to address problem areas.
