Love love love both these guys. They're doing very different things. Freestyling has a long tradition as old as rap, and no one's doing it better that HMack with the flow changes, word play, delivery, emotion, etc. Hip hop heads are always going to be impressed by that. I don't think anyone can do what he's doing right now. But Chris is doing something no one has ever done before. He's a comedian with an encyclopedic brain. Can you imagine any rapper ever spitting bars off the dome at length about obscure topics like medieval crop circles or the russian revolution with punchlines? The freestyling is impressive, but the fact that he could do it while winning Jeopardy is what makes him special in his own way. I hope the best for both of them and hope they get all the attention and accolades they deserve.
I’d love to see them get the same words or subjects and then do two separate freestyles without hearing each other and then see who would win, that‘d be a nice battle

Christ Turner is super intelligent and has big time skill putting lyrical schemes together on tough words, but h Mack has that and on top of that switches cadences, does more with multi syllable rhyme patterns, and then some. Like you always say, there are levels to this.
This. I'd say Chris has better general knowledge, which can help him specifically target some niche scientific/anthropology topics. Harry is definitely a better rapper (flow, multi-syllable rhymes, singing/melody, double entrendre). Double entendre aside, they have similar wit, especially regarding the way they capture/frame things with comical/unique perspectives

Chris Turner actually got me into H mack 2 years ago. I started watching CT and someone in the comments was comparing them so I watched one of Mack's videos and never looked back since. As good as CT is HM is level's above. Especially now after he improved drastically over the pandemic. CT's act is a comedy routine though. And it's good at being that.

I mean, I wish Eminem had a reason to collab with Harry for a freestyle session. I don't think that Eminem's freestyling abilities has truly been really shown. I think he has the potential to level up some of these areas with practice but it's hard to train style.

As someone who doesn't know a thing about hip hop, I find the fillers a bit annoying. Feel like CT has a much better flow of words, a better command over the language. Agree that HM is more musical, but also feel like he's saying a lot less. At the end of the day, what these guys are doing is absolutely amazing!
That is what Chris just did too (he actually creates a real story where Harry schemes on the variations or category of the word he is given), but I agree that Harry is better overall :D

But I wouldn't want to buy an album of Chris Turner freestyles, same as I wouldn't want to see Harry Mack perform at a comedy club.

I used to watch Chris Turner before Harry Mack, he's funny af. He's nowhere near HM's technical ability, but I would say his story telling technique is up there. His comic background adds to his story-telling improvisation similar to how drumming adds to HM's flow and cadence.

You said it perfectly. I've already seen a few of his freestyle comedy skits. They're good and all, like you said he's lowkey talented with it, but ain't even on the same universe as HMack. HMack is like the prophet of freestyle, ain't no one in competition or can be even closely compared. Not only that he's GOATED with rap if you want to somehow forget about the freestyle part of it. Lastly, with Chris Turner or any other rapper out there, you are going to instantly recognize that they are freestyling. With HMack you'd easily mistake his freestyle for an actual album record. That pretty much sums it up. As far as other rapper's I've heard of that will attempt to do off the dome freestyles. It doesn't really exist... There's maybe one or two people out there posting a video with their attempt, but it's just not good... There's a guy by the name of DanDizzy who tries to be known for his off the dome and there is a fair amount of videos out there of him doing it. Again it's not even on the same universe, not even worth checking out. Honestly Chris Turner might be the runner up as far as off the dome goes lol. Off the dome literally doesn't exist lol. It's HMack vs HMack, end of story.
For me this is like comparing different types of racing drivers like a rally driver V's and F1 driver. Both might race cars, both could be number #1 at what they do but you cannot compare them under the same. Harry is a better rapper and Chris is a better comedian, nothing to compare in my opinion, both number #1 at what they do :)
You can't knock his obvious skill set but he does seem to have a lot longer to think of his rhymes, taking between suggestions. Then calling up his DJ etc. Where as HM just seems to go off almost immediately.

Mack is my polished favorite shoes that I keep on the rack so the dog don't touch em and I wear them out to look good, Turner is my painting shoes I've had for 5 years, a little rough lookin and torn up, but they comfortable so still make an appearance when I'm running down to the esso for a pepsi.

I found Chris Turner years ago before Harry Mack started his channel. At the time, Chris blew me away 100%. I actually feel bad for Chris because he is legit talented and in the top handful of freestylers, but he just won't get the respect with the massive shadow Harry's historical talent casts. The funny part is that Harry is so adamant about giving real talent the respect it deserves, spreading positivity and lifting people up instead of hogging the pie. Unfortunately that's the way things work and Harry deserves to shine and be regarded as one of the greatest talents similar to the likes of Shakespeare, Einstein, Eminem, Socrates, DaVinci etc. And Harry should not feel bad or question the effects of his greatness.
He is good but he just dont have the word play that HMack has off the bat, Chirs is a good at rhyming, story telling, and flow, has great potentioal tho. Hmack might make him bigger just by the fact that people are trying to find someone that gets close to him.

The thing about Chris Turner is that he's ever so knowledgeable, and combines his unique knowledge funny at the same time. Harry has just got an insane flow and makes everything just sound dope but lacks the deep knowledge
Chris turner way more educated than Harry , and Harry adds way more kinda filler lines where as Chris does not. Harry could not rap about the hard things that these audiences throw at Chris because he isn’t so educated
Mack has more flows than almost every rapper has more schemes than writtens can make full songs with hooks and get on any of his audiences levels and have real messages all of top this guy can’t do that but he is way better than most
This guy has a comedic steak. Really smart, educated and versatile. Not really a rapper per say, but a comedic entertaining rapper. 😋 Very fun and talented. He is goofing around. Harry is more immersed in the HipHop culture.
IMO Harry Mack is presently the greatest freestyler. Period. Chris is talented at stringing some difficult words and topics together in a unique way, but Harry excels with flow, cadence, internal compound thymes, word play and schemes. I've been following freestyle rap for longer than I wish to mention here 🤣 and thus far, from all of the freestylers that I've ever seen and heard, no one is even close to Harry's level. The man is a genius at off the top freestyle - he creates entire songs, with hooks off the rip 🔥🔥🔥

Chris Turner is a comedian - his priority is to make it funny. They're both shockingly good. But I wouldn't want to buy an album of Chris Turner freestyles, same as I wouldn't want to see Harry Mack perform at a comedy club.
Highly recommend Andrew Shulz, he's the GOAT at crowd work when it comes to just stand up.

I used to watch Chris Turner before Harry Mack, he's funny af. He's nowhere near HM's technical ability, but I would say his story telling technique is up there. His comic background adds to his story-telling improvisation similar to how drumming adds to HM's flow and cadence.
Harry’s Cadence is something no one will ever have. The way he’s always one with the beats is crazy. Leave alone his brilliant schemes and rhymes. He’s unreal

You said it perfectly. I've already seen a few of his freestyle comedy skits. They're good and all, like you said he's lowkey talented with it, but ain't even on the same universe as HMack. HMack is like the prophet of freestyle, ain't no one in competition or can be even closely compared. Not only that he's GOATED with rap if you want to somehow forget about the freestyle part of it. Lastly, with Chris Turner or any other rapper out there, you are going to instantly recognize that they are freestyling. With HMack you'd easily mistake his freestyle for an actual album record. That pretty much sums it up.
As far as other rapper's I've heard of that will attempt to do off the dome freestyles. It doesn't really exist... There's maybe one or two people out there posting a video with their attempt, but it's just not good... There's a guy by the name of DanDizzy who tries to be known for his off the dome and there is a fair amount of videos out there of him doing it. Again it's not even on the same universe, not even worth checking out. Honestly Chris Turner might be the runner up as far as off the dome goes lol. Off the dome literally doesn't exist lol. It's HMack vs HMack, end of story.
For me this is like comparing different types of racing drivers like a rally driver V's and F1 driver. Both might race cars, both could be number #1 at what they do but you cannot compare them under the same. Harry is a better rapper and Chris is a better comedian, nothing to compare in my opinion, both number #1 at what they do :)
You can't knock his obvious skill set but he does seem to have a lot longer to think of his rhymes, taking between suggestions. Then calling up his DJ etc. Where as HM just seems to go off almost immediately.
Not comparable to Harry but it doesn't have to be.. It's entertaining, it doesn't have to be a competition all the time .. If it entertained you, he did his job ..
Mack is my polished favorite shoes that I keep on the rack so the dog don't touch em and I wear them out to look good, Turner is my painting shoes I've had for 5 years, a little rough lookin and torn up, but they comfortable so still make an appearance when I'm running down to the esso for a pepsi.

I found Chris Turner years ago before Harry Mack started his channel. At the time, Chris blew me away 100%. I actually feel bad for Chris because he is legit talented and in the top handful of freestylers, but he just won't get the respect with the massive shadow Harry's historical talent casts. The funny part is that Harry is so adamant about giving real talent the respect it deserves, spreading positivity and lifting people up instead of hogging the pie. Unfortunately that's the way things work and Harry deserves to shine and be regarded as one of the greatest talents similar to the likes of Shakespeare, Einstein, Eminem, Socrates, DaVinci etc. And Harry should not feel bad or question the effects of his greatness.

He is good but he just dont have the word play that HMack has off the bat, Chirs is a good at rhyming, story telling, and flow, has great potentioal tho. Hmack might make him bigger just by the fact that people are trying to find someone that gets close to him.

The thing about Chris Turner is that he's ever so knowledgeable, and combines his unique knowledge funny at the same time. Harry has just got an insane flow and makes everything just sound dope but lacks the deep knowledge
Chris turner way more educated than Harry , and Harry adds way more kinda filler lines where as Chris does not. Harry could not rap about the hard things that these audiences throw at Chris because he isn’t so educated

Mack has more flows than almost every rapper has more schemes than writtens can make full songs with hooks and get on any of his audiences levels and have real messages all of top this guy can’t do that but he is way better than most

This guy has a comedic steak. Really smart, educated and versatile. Not really a rapper per say, but a comedic entertaining rapper. 😋 Very fun and talented. He is goofing around. Harry is more immersed in the HipHop culture.
He's good as hell. But Mack is just beyond, especially with flow switches and hard hitting punches instead of just straight storytelling

IMO Harry Mack is presently the greatest freestyler. Period. Chris is talented at stringing some difficult words and topics together in a unique way, but Harry excels with flow, cadence, internal compound thymes, word play and schemes. I've been following freestyle rap for longer than I wish to mention here 🤣 and thus far, from all of the freestylers that I've ever seen and heard, no one is even close to Harry's level. The man is a genius at off the top freestyle - he creates entire songs, with hooks off the rip 🔥🔥🔥
