This one took me all day to make this one and THANK GOD the game did not glitch on me while making it! and for a time of 10:46.65 it's a hell of a good run.
I've tried looking into the game code for Contra to see if it could be sped up like this one and I wasn't able to figure it out. but I'm sure someone could lol
i don't like this version of mod , i mean the older contra hack i.e revenge of the red falcon , blue falcon and green falcon's difficulty was like it was created by satan himself
nah I made a tool assisted speedrun using a tas editor. the game runs insanely too fast lol but I have tried to run it in realtime and it's an absolute pain
I actually didn't make this hack. I just threw it through the TAS editor. I tried finding a contra style rom maker back when I made this TAS and was not successful in finding one that would work with windows. only mac computers and I never could get it to work.
last I remember there are some rom editors online. may want to check romhacking.net. they are a great resource for stuff like that. As far as Contra games go I know there are a few editors out there for mac and windows computers. but I only have the ones for Castlevania games. may want to check out the Contra discord server. there are a lot of people in that server who would know more about how to hack Contra games than I would. :)

not sure why the music was different. I think it's how the rom was coded when the hack was made.
