The only Kingdom Hearts game I have experience is 358/2 days back on the DS. I absolutely love that game and have been wanting to jump the the whole franchise for a while but I didn’t own PS system so it dodged me for a while I can’t be more excited for this. A little sad that my first game is just a movie on the collection, though.
I love these fun timeless games fr
Buddy... I been lurking for awhile, love your videos, and can relate to where you're coming from in a lot of ways. Been wondering though... Are you cold in your own home? You're always dressed for what would be winter weather in Arizona lol!
I'm glad someone else said what I was thinking. I'm like dude, bro, it's summer.
@@swirl44 With a full on Carhartt hoodie, he'd have to have the AC cranked down to 40.
Anyway, Imma go play some Doom.
I’m burning up hahah it’s just for the look hahha
@@julienmelnickFor the aesthetics no matter the cost, love it!
@@julienmelnickdo u got kingdomhearts remix or the masterpiece
Love the Mic being back and enjoy your vacation you earned it
The whole collection is 43% off on Green Man Gaming.
I tried KH 0.2 on Deck at 800p Fullscreen and was hitting a very consistent 60fps.
That was a deal I couldn't pass on 👍
I love how you brought the mic back. Reminds of your videos way back when with Calvin and Hobbs. I like how you change it up though, so you don’t need to bust out the mic every time, but I like it. 👍🏻 and I agree about the “console like” experience. I just want to be able to turn it on and play, relatively quickly and maximize my limited time to play games. Maybe someday I’ll get into customizing settings, but for now I barely have enough time to play.
Bro just got back from a rap battle…even took the mic with him
Guilty
Was gonna play through kingdom hearts via emulation, but steam is definitely the better way 🙌🏾
Can you link the leverless controller?
Kingdom hearts is fuckin everything. HeattttER. Now we wait til we are 70 for soras new journey.
What controller settings are you using? I can't get mine to work with the Steam Deck gamepad
In terms of future Steam Deck Revisions and new Hardware. Regarding the resolution and scaling, because 4k TVs would be the more proper way nowadays to experience games in Docked mode on large screens, the Steam Deck 2 for the next console revision should be able to hand 4k 60hz in games within the last 10 years (or higher hertz) with a screen size on the Deck at 1200p for 16 : 10 aspect ratio (because 1080p would be 16 : 9 aspect ratio). This way for scaling the APU in the Steam Deck on the next console revision should be able to scale better to 4k this way, if the performance of the next Steam Deck can handle 4k because right now, it definitely cannot. In my opinion, we need that resolution bump from 800p to 1200p for the next console and then if Valve wants to for future revision in just improving the hardware only and not the screen, is just keep the resolution at 1200p from now on.
Thank goodness that these games are offline, only online if you want cloud saving to resume on your home PC. 1000x better than Switch Cloud versions that defeats the purpose of Switch's portability for every AAA games.
It was slightly compical watching you juggle the corded mic + coffee setup 😅
Alright you talked me into it, I’ll sub
Michael Scott!
I love these terrible games. Gonna replay the whole collection and plat 'em all. Love how well they're running on deck so far, though I haven't tried 0.2 or kh3 yet.
Thirsty for the daily cup !! I got the full series , I am hype to try it for the first time huge Disney fan
epic store version had online check-in drm, which utterly defeats the point of having it on a portable form factor - similar if not as bad as the streaming only switch version. Steam version's native and online tether free.
My only complaint (about the collection, I could complain your ear off about the games themselves) is that it's still a shame that we only got cutscene compilations and not remakes/remasters for the DS titles. You get the story (what little there is in coded's case), but miss the neat gameplay gimmicks of coded and the full emotional impact of Days. Also the suggested play order putting Days in front of KH2 is a huge mistake for players new to the franchise. While Days takes place before 2 chronologically, it was released later, casually spoils several of 2's big plot reveals (since the player was assumed to already know them), and introduces a bunch of new unresolved plot threads that undermine 2's otherwise very satisfying ending.
So yeah, I recommend actually playing days (and coded, if you're going to bother with it at all), but in release order (ie days after 2). Emulate if need be - in particular look into the Melon Mix for Days, I hear it has a linux version that's supposed to be deck compatible now - though last I checked the prices for DS consoles are still pretty good. Not 3ds consoles, their prices are ludicrous right now, but a ds lite + a flash cart won't set you back too much, and they're a lovely little handheld with a huge library of great games that any handheld gaming fan would love to have in their collection. As portable as the deck is, you can't fit it in your pocket after all.
LETS GO!!!!
