The lighting at Costco and your home is different - hence it’s harder to select bananas. We go for the greener ones as they’re tougher. Twice however they didn’t ripen - go figure, we weren’t the only ones who returned them.
I DONT BY STUFF IN BAG BECAUSE IT GOES BAD REALLY QUICK I THINK STUFF GETS FROZEN AND THEY HIDE IT IN BAGS WITH BABNANA IF IT GETS FROZEN IT GOES BAD FAST I LIKE PICKING FRUIT WERE I CAN SEEIT IT ISNT A DEAL IF YOU END UP TOSSING IT
I hear u I went to no frills the other day and got 2 cases of water 1 case of pop and a pack of sausages I spent 38$ I was in shock I had to re check the bill a couple times blew my mind on these grocery prices
We have always used Rao’s marinara sauce, since we have not been able to find the Bravo any more we decided to buy the one on sale which is so much larger and this is what I will buy from now on, at 83 it is hard to change things. I only use the sauce as a base and still do everything the same for home made. Go figure. Lol Peggy
Equal parts of salt, onion powder, garlic powder, little less black pepper, even less paprika and dried thyme. I also add avocado oil to the meat to help make the seasoning spread and add crisp
Hi Dee and fam💕 I cant believe i missed your video this sunday.. im with on the fruits i eat during cold season.. i love golden kiwi yumm... yes Tbone is so cute🥰🥰 .. way off for the Marinara sauces lol...I only do plastic straws( example ice coffee at mcdonalds they put it in plastic cup but paper straw doesnt make sense) 😊
Thank you for another informative video! Tip: I've taken a pic of any moldy produce along with the costco bill in the same photo as the moldy food and show the returns desk my pic so i dont have to keep around moldy food. 😊
I know a family (not mine) that did a blind taste test of commercial marinara sauces and rated them. They thought they would pick Rao's which they believed to be their favourite, but Victoria won with the most points, while Rao's came in 2nd place.
I hear you on the fruit being bruised and not looking as good when you get home. Doesn’t matter how many times you check the packaging. Looks like T-bone is adapting quite well. He should be a medium dog. He’s so cute. I guessed right on the marinara sauce. Have a great week.
🐶 You may already know but I didn’t (I’m a new dog owner too) so just wanted to post a friendly heads up that grapes and raisins are dangerous for doggies. I had no idea…We love your videos and are crazy about Costco-Niagara and Orillia locations carry the Great Jacks bully sticks -100% beef pizzle….(don’t google lol) They don’t carry them at Mississauga nor Etobicoke locations. If you ever see them locally T bone will go crazy for those! Way cheaper than Pet Store, we keep them in the freezer. T bone is a sweetie! Keep up the great 👍🏻 content
Hi Dee Happy Sunday. Costco fruit is sometimes a hit or miss. The grapes were the best they were big firm but still juicy and sweet. Now really have to watch. Might have to stock up on few sauces. Question? Do you know if they use canned chicken or rotisserie chicken for the chicken salad they have in the pre-made meal section. I’m not positive but I would say they charged by the pound for the zucchini they do the same thing with a cabbage. I refuse to pay $7 or more for a cabbage.
Hi Christine! We liked the red grapes too. They were nice and crisp and sweet. I'm pretty sure the chicken salad is canned chicken but I could be wrong 🤔 I wouldn't buy $7 cabbage either!!
I hate paper straws too. You can’t even finish your drink before they disintegrate. (I miss plastic grocery bags too. They were never one use for me. Now I just buy way more garbage bags. And having to drag bags everywhere is annoying. /end rant😆)
I went this morning to Costco all ready to stock up on the Marinara but it was full price $12.99 at our location. 😞I wonder if it was sale specific to your store? I hadn't been to Costco for a big haul so my bill was a hefty one but I did get my foil! 😂 I also buy the Beef Bulgogi every time I go. Skipped the fruit section since nothing looked good enough for the price increase. I was looking a new dog bed as well but they were really small compared to what you bought and what we used to get and the price was still $34.99. 🤷🏻♀ Thanks for sharing your haul, Dee! ❤
Omg I can't believe it! I hope it goes on sale near you soon. So glad you got your foil! I saw the beef bulgogi is going on sale now! I wish I knew before I got my package!
@@DEEANDFAM I'm going to go get a couple more Beef Bulgogi's for the freezer since that sale price is amazing! So I'll get my $8 back at the same time. We're actually having that for supper tonight. Haha
Cute dog Dee as always great haul ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! 🤗

I thought i was the only one that have that problem with the light in the stores
Nope you're not alone!

I've been noticing that too! Even my Instacart orders are expensive now for 1 bag of things 🤔
@@DEEANDFAM yea it’s so insane
Take a picture with the receipt

You will love Victoria's! Honestly it's just delicious and versatile 😉
It seems like grocery prices are going down. It's about time.
Let's hope it stays reasonable 🙏🏼
Would like to know what you put on your lamb chops before air frying

Hey Veronika! Yes golden kiwi is delicious. I like the Mcds iced coffee too but the paper straw is not for me 😅
T-Bone looks very happy living his best new life ❤ Thank you for sharing your weekly haul. Have a great week!
Thank you! You too!
Yes have found organic bananas very bruised when I got them home. Totally ripened in 2 days.
Oh no!!!

Next time, any chance you can remark on the quantity and the weight of the stuff you buy?
He loves his bed, what a cutie!!! Have a good week Dee🇨🇦💕👍

Great guess and thank you! It's good to know I'm not alone with the produce 😅
Kiwi for the fall plagues - as they have twice the amount of Vitamin C that oranges do. So I have both in the house.
You're all set! 👍👍

Thanks for the tips and for your support! We knew about grapes, raisin, chocolate, onions and garlic 😅
I will make sure I don't Google the pizzle 🤣
T-Bone is so well behaved!
He sure is!! Until he wants to play 😅 long walks tucker him out

Next time take a picture of the moldy item and you can use it to show them the issue

Why didn’t you just take a video of the grapefruit and with the receipt next to it and show it at the returns desk
Great tip, thanks!
I’m not a fan of buying fruit and veg at Costco. Much prefer to buy unpackaged.
It's usually pretty good for us but I haven't been lucky lately 🤔
👍
