We have the loveliest supporters and followers of our UA-cam channel 'It's a Wonderful Life'.
We remain committed to provide our content regularly, and of late, to increase the frequency of our vlogs. We have and continue to receive, many kind requests, to send gifts, or in some way help us financially with our channel.
We have given this a great deal of thought. Whilst 'Patreon' and 'go fund me' are out of the question for us, we feel the 'buy me a coffee platform' (or for us, a cup of tea!) would be a great way to do this, especially in light of its ease of use and non ongoing commitment.
Any contribution towards maintaining and hopefully enhancing our channel is very much appreciated, but never expected.
Each step of your progress is breathing new life into this property. It's a testimony of the individuals who lavish skill, love and nurture their surrounds
I could watch you watertighting all day! and every day! You're a master craftsman and you should be so proud. Glad Anna is doing OK. I'm loving your vain Geese!😆🪿🪿
Every home should have a Peter ❤
Peter, I think you are capable of doing anything you set your mind to….a very smart man indeed!
Very nice solution to the failed barn door. I appreciate your recycling efforts and work ethic.
Peter don’t over think about the shooting into the light we could still see the skill and hard work you put in x
Once again you've turned the sow's ear into a silk purse. Well done!
Sunday lunch cooked and cleaned up check. Company gone home check. New vlog with Peter doing woodwork YIPEE!! What a great way to spend a Sunday .
I simply love watching Peter at work. Everything is done with engineering precision and esthetics. With every Peter's creation the world is getting just a little bit better. ❤
Love watching Peter working. He is so exacting and it pays off.
A mirror for the geese. How cute? I still feel so bad for you both losing your chickens. Time comforts all.
Peter, you always impress me with your carpentry skills. The barn looks fantastic and, more importantly, more stable. Don't worry about the light in this video. I didn't mind it.❤
Complete transformation using reclaimed materials excellent love to you both at this difficult time❤
Just love your videos. Peter I have learned so much about how to look and think about a project before making a plan of attack/solution. Of course, watching your wood working skills put in use is always a treat. And, you get a project like that done so quickly! Glad to hear the survivors are recovering too.. A country dweller myself, sadly it happens more frequently around our area despite our best efforts. Bears, weasels, fox, raccoons - bears the worst - often total destruction of the coop n fencing as well. Do feel for both of you. Thank you for sharing your talents and beautiful home and life with us..
Thank you for your kind words Cynthia, we wouldn't trade the country for anything less!
Great work Peter....it's great how you make something out of 'not much" and now it is so functional.....well done!!
Lovely job Peter 👏 😊
Nice job as normal to make the barn water tight. Plus using the materials that you had . Bravo Peter. Loved watching as normal❤
Peter is a jack of all trades, IN A MASTER OF ALL! Much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖
Enjoy watching the changes to the outbuildings. What are you hoping to make of that new space? So light and bright.
Amazing work as normal. I love seeing your thought process when working things out. Love to Anna.
HA! This looks like my barn! Great job! Love the mirror for the geese! Glad to hear that Annie and Anna are doing better. Such a shock for the girls! XO Cheers!
I am in love with your farm house. You two have made it so very special.
Yes Peter, making things look 'tiddly' is imperative methinks....it's tiddly all the way in my house, I tell'ya! 😆😂🤣❤. You both are so talented and quirky and compassionate and...and... just great to be able to watch your beautiful shenanigans. 💝. Thanks for sharing your gifts.
One master skilled craftsman that you are, utilizing all means & waste not.
Another wonderful project! You are very skilled, Peter. It's a pleasure to watch you execute your plan. Happy Anna is doing ok after such a heart-wrenching event. Take care! Thanks for taking the time to share with us! Best!
Thanks, you too!
Excellent project, as usual, reusing materials on hand and making it better than the original.
7:06 Who needs a kreg jig when you can do Peter’s method!
Excellent workmanship Peter I really enjoy your vids.
You are a joy to watch, a very talented cookie
Very well done sir. So glad you who remai there are fairing well. The geese admiring themselves....perfect precious ending.
So nice of you
A great step by step video, as always . I think i'm right in saying everyone enjoys what you are doing to improve your property. Looking forward to the next adventure!. It looks a lovely place to settle and enjoy your life.
What a great job! You are a natural born carpenter. You have that analytical mind to figure out any problem that you are faced with, and make the best of what you have. That last bit was hilarious with the goose preening herself/himself in front of the mirror as if looking to see if he/she looks good!
The barn door and wall looks great! 😊
I try to tell my husband we should never throw anything out :) The goose at the end....adorable
😂 Goosey admiring themselves in the mirror ❤ as for Ducky either playing don’t move a mm or it’s an ornament 😂 so sorry to hear about the chickens 😢
Peter, you’ve made a silk purse out of a sows lug as we would say in Yorkshire.
Nice work
Fine job Peter best to Anna as always 😊
Thank you Tony
Fantastic workmanship Peter once again 👍🏻
You are a very versatile builder Peter. I think it is great that you can reuse what some people would toss or burn and make a perfectly fine repair. Well done indeed.
The previous owner had a good idea to make the gable end a light source for the interior. You however have made it structurally sound and more secure. Well done. You are a true craftsman.
Great job Peter! So glad you are back showing us your projects!
Always enjoy your blog. So glad you are doing them
Love your craftsmanship Peter. Can you drop in a few breaks of a chat with Anna, or chat about your future reno plans?
Another fantastic job Peter, I could sit all day and watch you make things, I think it is very wise not to rush to get more chickens at the moment, it's still a big shock to you both. hope you haven't seen any more pine martens? Take care both of you until next time, see you soon xx
Peter your brilliant, very resourceful.
You didn’t even check for high spiders or snakes well done.
Absolument genial j'ai adoré cette video merci et bravo😉
You would think you had been born during the American Depression the way you can make something out of nothing. Your vlogs amaze and inspire!! You are a UA-cam Professor 😂❤
Job well done Peter! That glass door is a strange bit of kit - it looks like a toughened shower screen was used as a door!
Thank for helping me start my day, providing God’s evidence of hope in humanity by the sweetness and tenderness of you all. Gives me encouragement.
Such lovely words Deborah, thank you
What a brilliant project, reusing what could practically be reused. Terrific.
Great job Peter ❤
The video was fine. Great job

Fantastic job just working with what you have turned out great
Wow that turned out really great. So much better. You always do such excellent work.
Thanks so much 😊
Hi Peter! I’ve said it many times before and will say yet again. Your work is exceptional! Especially as you’re using recycled materials. And even though recycled you still add just those small touches to make it look great. Like the framing of the windows and the chamfering of the door lock block. It does give it a “Peter did this finish”🙌. Awesome work buddy. 👍
Such a pleasure to wash a quality craftsman, do a lovely job , well done young man X bravo
As usual, a job well done!! Even cleaned the windows! Good work Peter.
Such a clever man you are Peter love watching you work I could watch you all day if my wife would let me 😂

Another good job done Peter! Super sensible to reuse materials.
Glad Anna is settling after such an upset.
Not always commenting at the moment as I'm watching on my TV and I can't comment, so pleased to see you back with your projects again, but understand after the sad loss of your Mother...sincere condolences.

Wonder if the glass door was too heavy for the original frame which was not fixed properly. Fantastic rebuild Peter.
Wow Peter the new barn door and windows look amazing but you never do anything by halves . Poor Anna I’m glad to hear she is doing a little better what did you do with the culprit did you take it far far away . ?🙋♀️🇦🇺

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That looks great, I don’t care and I’m sure many others too about the lighting or sound it’s fine. It’s not a professional film. Looks like the area could be used for something. I think you too would be most at home in America. And welcomed.
We are trying to get to the US, Visa issues are a problem for us, we adore the States and its people :-)
Job well done 👍✌️
The house in creuse we are looking at has an internal door like that!!
Thinking of you Anna.
