Wow, another stunning track! Love the equipment and no doubt each new device added into the studio inventory takes time to fully integrate into the creative process. The results are simply wonderful. Looking forward to more sonic gems like this! 👍
not only is the music stunning SA, the set of Hardware also beautiful... being my self an electronic engineer i love the leds the cables the signal inputs the signal outputs.. i am also old enough to have seen analog synth sets ... in a sense is the reald world image of the music in SA.s brain.... the music is so exquisite....
Another good one Patrick. Wish to ask you, on which setup you enjoy the most: In the box, or mainly playing with hardware synths and then using the DAW as a recorder?
What linux distro are you using? That taskbar don't look like Windows. Also amazing setup and vibes, I wish I could get into this, the machine set up alone gives me a dopamine hit, the music is a bonus.
Thank you! Arbhar isn't the most advanced granular synth, or the best sounding and it is quite big but we don't have a lot of choice in eurorack. I already sold it once, but ended up buying it again because it is very easy and fast to use, compared to say Nebulae v2, which I think is the better and more standard granular module, which has more features. If I could only have one I think it would be Nebulae, but if you'd like something easier to work with, and much faster/more immediate and a little more fun Arbhar is a better choice. I also have Morphagene, but that's too different to compare imo.
@@rjschrei Not sure what I can say about Lubadh, it's a looper...It does the job of a looper just fine, but I don't think i really use it to its full potential, I just use it for standard looping sometimes to playback stuff at a lower octave or reversed for interesting additional layers. It's pretty nice.
So many wires, wires here, wires there, wires everywhere. Shows you have a good grasp on what you're doing. Is this rig set aside or something you had to put together?
It's always been either in the studio or in my lounge, I kept moving it around trying to find the best place for it. It's probably going to stay put now
From what our host has said in the past: the physical layout of the modules is pretty stable but the cabling, i.e. the functional relationship between them, is not. A lot of the patch gets built fresh for each composition, so in that sense it's something he's recently put together. But if I've answered a question you weren't asking, or misrepresented what @State Azure really said, correct me and let's chat?
@@David_K_Booth Oh good point, he might have meant the physical connections/cables. You're right. The modules don't change all that much (except recently since I sold and bought a few to exchange), but the actual patching is new each time. Once I record/video the patch, I pull every cable and start fresh.
Is the Nautilus any good? I've watched a few videos and still not sure exactly what it does. Seems to be mainly delays and filters. I couldn't tell what it was doing in this piece though.
I like it. I wouldn't say it's an essential module but it does have a few unique twists to it ie 5 delay lines, the FX section (two of which are filters for the delays), and the shimmer/de-shimmer feature which can pitch the delays up or down an octave. For sound design it's a nice addition. In this patch I had a copy of one of the Rings' outputs going into Nautilus for processing/delay with some filtering before it went into Panharmonium for even more processing, that way Pan had a little more interesting audio to resynthesise into an interesting texture.
I just got it recently and still finding my way around it but I really like it so far for creating really nice ambient textures out of even the simplest sounds.
This was ethereal. I have a different level of respect for artists this savvy when it comes to hardware.
Nice to see (hear) the modular rig again.
Nice, you broke 100k subs! Hype train is now departing, next stop 1 mil. Let's gooooooo!!

It's very floaty and serene. The only thing it needs is to be an hour+ long! Love it.
well.. what Else can I say..... dreamy, calm, beautiful... brilliant
Intriguing and at times eerie. Beautifully shot also. Rather splendid.
Wonderful! Also love how the setup looks like an electric jungle... 🙂
On loop for the rest of the day! Thanks for all your hard work!
So calm and soothing. Thank you for another addition from your modular rack. Can't wait to see this track on your next compilation album on bandcamp.
I love having your music to get my day started.
Looks like heaven, sounds like heaven.
FANTASTIC !
Fantastic music !
I love your Eurorack stuff. It inspires me more and more every time!
Fantastic music 🎵
had to go for a second listen immediately!
Nice to have State Azure at work!
Would LOVE something in the style of Arvo Part or Max Richter. Would be really interesting
fantastic stuff, I have those modules too but wish I could do half of what you do with them 👌🏼
Your studio is impressive аnd inspiring !
Love these!
Good stuff
i was under the impression you had no MI modules... very nice!
I have a few, though none of the original designs. I have Marbles, 2 Plaits, Braids and a Rings.
So cool

I think enjoy both just as much, maybe it depends on my mood on the day :)

Very Beautiful! You are a remarkable musician. And practically, is the Lubadh worth it? On the fence about this one. Any encouraging words?

Thank you for your very helpful and generous reply. It was the most useful evaluation I have seen. And the Lubadh?

Watching that light column bar move across the pad thingie - is this performance in "7/8"?
I wasn't really following any kind of tempo or signature for this, just needed a short repeating melody for processing

Have you been approached by any labels as of yet ,,?.
Only smaller net labels
@@stateazure Cheers , What would be the names of those labels ???
@@colintraveller I don't remember the names now, it was quite a long time ago. I rarely get any labels contacting me these days.
I am surprised Ultimae records, France have not got you onboard !
@@timprice-walker2957 I'm a fan of Ultimae, but rarely does my music really fit into their music catalogue, I think.
Apparently youtube thinks people who listen to this music will buy Gucci stuff? Lol
Maybe I need an affiliate link for Gucci :)
