What is “faithing”? Cora Jakes Coleman defines faithing as the process of believing in God’s ability to do anything. People often see the result of your believing, but most do not witness the process. They see the victory, not the struggle.
The inspiration for Faithing It was Cora Jakes Coleman’s own faith journey after being diagnosed with PCOS and being told she could not have children without fertility treatments. She wanted to bring this battle that many women quietly face out into the open to encourage them.
She also hoped to encourage anyone facing some type of infertility in their lives. Infertility is defined as an “inability to produce,” and by revealing the “faithing” process, she shows that the battle can be overcome by a strong connection with a trustworthy God.
