Speaking of childish charms, I suppose I am one of the few not enamored with Hermes Rodeo horse charms and those sandal charms - forget what they are called. Those always looked juvenile to me.
I'm not a fan either. I liked them at first but don't anymore. They have some nicer looking ones than those, though.

🙋♀️ I soooo miss Henry Bendel 🥺 glad I have 2 purses and 3 monogram letter charms. I made a bag charm with the monogram letters. Wish I had purchased more bag charms. They had the best ones.
I know a lot of people don’t like bag charms anymore but I still love to adorn my bags. I’ve actually been looking for one for my new Neverful MM in the Damier Ebene.
Personally, I'd recommend something that goes with whatever interior color you chose. The Coach cherries, for example, if you got red or something pink if you got rose ballerine. Congrats on your new bag!

I miss Henri bendel. I have a necklace, a ring, and one of his jet setter backpacks. Love all of your charms, I’ve been collecting a lot these last few years, I love accessorizing. Hate how expensive coach charms have gotten. I have the rainbowLV bag charm, which is so cute, that’s probably my favorite.

I bought the Coach Tin Man, Scarecrow and blue shark change purse. I also have the black rexy bones charm. I also have Matilda from Swarovski and their Bull dog bag charms both of which are sparkly and gorgeous. I never use them. Yea, they're a bit childish but who cares, it's a cute conversation piece. However, like you said, I'm running and changing bags almost daily so who thinks about dressing them up?
Since I filmed this I've wondered if I should prep my outfits the night before and make more of a point of using my decorative pieces. Probably should but I'm so exhausted by the end of the day.

I not-so-secretly love bag charms... I would buy more if they were't so expensive. I used to buy Coach ones ALL the time when they were like $38. Finally had to declutter some of them!
I wish they were still that cheap! They've been creeping closer to $100 lately.
Coach charms are the best 🙌🏻 I started collecting them (unintentionally) in either the late 90s or early 2000s… I had a whole decorative tack board full! The last few years I’ve been selling them off though and curating my collection (probably used the $ for LV and Chanel SLGs lol). I have a nice little LV charm collection too & some random others. It’s a fun way to dress up a bag. Thanks for sharing your lovely collection! I’ve always been curious about Leather Prince.

I love your collection! I just started collecting a few months ago, and I already have quite a few. It’s fun to accessorize your bags, keeps things fresh and fun, and they’re a lot easier to store than buying more bags (and generally less expensive lol). I purchased a 3-tier necklace stand from Amazon to hold and display most of them, it helps me remember what I have so I can keep track.

I doubt they cost much. Just coated canvas and some simple hardware. But we pay upwards of $300 for them because we're suckers. ;D

Do you hang hand sanitizer dispensers on the outside of your bags? I find those have taken the place of charms nowadays. Very handy because you don't have to get inside your bag for it but not very attractive.
I did last year but don't anymore.
So the weather is crappy and I have a headache so I called out from work. Gloomy day, perfect for watching your collection videos, lol. I have a lot of coach bag charms but never wear them on my bags. They sit in my china closet, go figure.

So I am pretty sure your question is rhetorical- however I don’t consider it a Hoarding issue until the Hoard is causing financial issues (sometimes relationship issues) preventing cleanliness standards, or is preventing mobility through a space or can no longer be organized. I think that is an important thought though, to remember items in our collection should bring us joy and we should get rid of items that don’t, to make room for the ones that do. Demonstrating one is able to let go of items is usually a good sign that they are not a Hoarder. ;)

Ahhhh....I caught the Henri Bendel wave the last few years it was in existence. I have ONE HB bag left in my collection and one or two pieces of jewelry (no bag charms)...LOVE the iconic brown and white striped paper and boxes.

Such a fun video. I love charms! Maybe you can consider dressing/styling the bags just how you like them and then just leaving them like that instead of taking the charms on and off. That would be such a fun video- watching you dress up each bag😊
Good idea. So good, in fact, that I've done it before but then I realized I didn't use the items on other bags and it made it difficult to do collection videos like this because my things were so spread out. Can't win! Thank you, though.
I'm afraid to put bag charms on my luxury bags because I'm afraid they will scratch the leather or scratch the hardware that it's attached to.
It depends on the charm. I haven't had any issues with them myself.
The cookie one is cute but I just think overall charms are unnecessary. It distracts from the bag.

I have a few bag charms but rarely use them. When I do put them on I often take them off, not sure why.
I have one of the round LV charms, but it is bowing slightly. Has yours done that? It is rarely used and stored in its dust bag.
