One of the best CCM albums of all time...this collaboration is so awesome! I love the synth stuff in this...but I kept waiting for a Dann Huff solo....hahaha. So good!
Amy still sounds amazing. Love this version. I used to listen to this song all the time before I got saved. Amy was my first Christian concert and I didn't even know what a Christian was haha. Rich Mullins was the opener how cool was that???
I saw Amy in about 1987 at the Entertainment Centre. It was great! Didn’t know about the Opera House thing was O/S. Australia was in a big downturn. People didn’t have disposable income.
Amy Grant and David Meece came to town (The Straight Ahead Tour) immediately after my daughter was born (40 years ago) My daughter was three weeks old and slept through the concert despite being in the 9th row. (Yes, I protected her ears.) Lead Me On wasn't released until four years later. Many many years later, my daughter and I met Rich Mullins after he and Mitch McVickers performed in a small church in town. I was surprised there wasn't a bigger venue, nor were more people around because he was such an amazing musician and songwriter. Two months later, Rich passed away in a most horrific way, and I miss him and his music so much. Looking forward to seeing him and Keith Green at the Resurection.
Wonderful, new, Live version of this, classic Worship song... Amy G. with the Smallbone Brothers~(Joel&Luke){For King + Country}... Awesome, Thanks! ☘️⚡🔥💟🐑🐑🐑🍁🐢🌊🌊🌅🌱🙂🪻🪻🪻🎶🥲🍉🤗👍🎈🫶🦅🏖️✌️😊
The best tribute song to the nation of Israel and their suffering through the ages 😢 thank you for this fresh rendition and reminder of never again. Just disappointed you left out the most important verse. 'Chambers made for sleeping forever' always hit hard. 🇿🇦❤🇮🇱
Amy Grant is great and those guys seem to sing well but this version is nothing like the original. The original has better music and her voice sounds powerful and the chorus is like a cry from the heart....a prayer.....
It's a shame the most powerful lyric was edited out. "Bitter cold terrain, Echoes of a slamming door, In chambers made for sleeping, forever".... Never forget
What a masterpiece of songwriting, indeed. Wasn't Michael W Smith also involved in it? Not a surprise that this song was voted the most relevant of all time ccm albums.
Ironic that they're singing with Amy when it was her tour that made them lose everything and have to come to America. And also that Rebecca was signed by Eddie Degarmo when their dad turned him down for Amy.
I wonder if Amy finds it ironic that it's because of her (not directly due to her) that the family lost everything and had to go to the US? I would love to hear her take on what happened.
That's such an inaccurate statement. How could the 1990 recession in Australia possibly be Amy Grant's fault? It was a really bad recession. Banks collapsed, so many people lost their jobs, many foreclosed on their houses. The problem was their father was in a risky business. When things turned out well, he was really successful and they lived nicely. But he took a risk and overextended himself, expecting a big payoff. Australia was not in the recession yet when he landed the Amy Grant concert, but by the time the concert came around, the recession was really bad and people couldn't afford the tickets. He couldn't cover his costs. I heard she actually gave him quite a break and kept costs as low as she could (not sure if that's true). But she certainly wasn't the cause, even indirectly, of the dad's financial troubles. That's a completely illogical conclusion to draw. If anything, the movie didn't paint Carmen in a very good light at all. He seemed to go back on his word to their dad.
Not inaccurate at all. I said it was indirectly because of her concert that they lost everything. I didn't say it was her fault! They were fine until the dad took on promoting HER concert and then the recession happened and people couldn't afford tickets. Do you not understand what "indirectly" means?
Great, incredible musical performance but the lyric is really serious and it seemed like the emotion wasn’t consistent with the theme. For example, the line “labeled w a golden star” wouldn’t warrant a smile?
I love the Smallbone family but I wish they didn’t team up with Amy Grant for thing song. Not after she betrayed God so she could go along with her niece’s lesbian wedding. She knows what the Bible says about homosexuality and made a choice to ignore it.
Amy ran after another women's husband....Janice Oliver Gill. She wrote a song, "I Know Who You Are" about her. She destroyed 2 marriages & hurt her children terribly. That & the more recent stands for homosexuality....I pray for her, but she doesn't follow Jesus' Word....she's apostate & has chosen the world....Love our Lord Jesus, love people enough to speak & behave rightly❤
😔Amy has manipulated the Bible to justify sin! Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Why did they have to sing with her? Their dad lost everything because of her. Doesn't make sense!!!! And she twists the Bible to what she wants it to say.
It wasn't Amy personally who was responsible for their father's losing his company. Australia experienced an economic downturn right about that time as well as other factors. And, even if it was her tour, isn't that what forgiveness is for? And, the fact that they are singing together is an amazing example of how God directs our steps-if their family hadn't lost everything and had to come and experience the things they did in the U.S., would they be the incredibly successful music group (and Rebecca) that they are today? How cool that it has come full circle and they are singing with Amy.
Always loved this song…. Too bad Amy openly supports LGBTQ. I feel like I can’t trust any of my favorite Christian musicians anymore to stand in the Word of God and stand for hard truths and holiness above popularity 😔. So many of my heroes have broken my heart. I’ve been hoping for King and Country would stand. Seems like Skillet’s one of the only bands standing on the Rock.
This is a better rendition than Amy ever did on her own. I also like that the guts voices cover up her inability to hold a higher note any more. The guys should sing this without her
That was amazing. I've been fortunate enough to see both Amy, Joel, and Luke in concert. This was an amazing collaboration.
One of the best CCM albums of all time...this collaboration is so awesome! I love the synth stuff in this...but I kept waiting for a Dann Huff solo....hahaha. So good!
No kidding dann was amazing
Amy Grant released _Lead Me On_ in 1988 through A&M Recordings.
thanks!
It still sounds great
@@tedhansen3846 I've been playing that record again and again for the past 30 years. Never gets old.

Luke ♥️
I agree
RIGHT?!?!?
I agree too!
He’s amazing in every song and so is his brother.
What a beautiful trio❤❤❤
Those Boys can SING!!!
Amy still sounds amazing. Love this version. I used to listen to this song all the time before I got saved. Amy was my first Christian concert and I didn't even know what a Christian was haha. Rich Mullins was the opener how cool was that???
Rich Mullins!!! I adore him!! How was that?

I love Rich Mullins . He had such great music
Can't wait to hear from the soundtrack of the movie! 😊
Been listening to her for 38yrs and was Blessed enough to see her perform live twice..she's still got it😏
She's pro- lgbtq+. God isn't.
Maravilhouse! Incrideble! Wonderfull always! ❤
Joel does an amazing job! Always love his "right-on" harmony...
He’s got a beautiful voice. No shade toward Luke, cause he’s also amazing
How awesome you got the chance to sing with Amy Grant! Wow! Once in a lifetime opportunity to sing with one of the greatest of all time!
Transports me back to high school. Love that for King and Country have been bringing back the 80s and 90s songs!
I loved this song when it came out. So cool to hear it again.
Beautiful
I’m excited to get this album!
Amy Grant, Stryper, Rebecca St James... For King and Country is embracing the roots of CCM !
Love this! Amy Grant was one of my first favorite Christian singers and For King and Country is my current favorite! All for the glory of God!
Until she sinned on Gary Chapman and ran off with Vince Gill?
Mine too. I saw Amy perform back in the early 80's and just saw Joel and Luke 3 weeks ago tonight. They were amazing together.
Love this song and album by Amy Grant. One of my favorite by her. Thanks for sharing.
🙏❤️🎗️ Unsung Hero...a must see story of Faith,Family and the best of HUMANITY 🎗️❤️🙏
💔Mom.... my Mothers Day movie💐
Amy is so amazing and sounds so good. Takes me back a few years. Who knew how much God would do for all of them?
And she threw it all right back in His face.
So much fun! The joy on their voices as they sing together just makes me smile!!!
WONDERFUL!
This has to get on Spotify, I would listen to it the whole day 😊❤
The bridge of this song is tragic and timeless. "Man hurts man, time and time again. Somebody tell me why?"
This is just WOW
It’s amazing you guys did a song with Amy grant.
I've always loved this song but this new version is awesome.
I’m watching this because I love Amy Grant, and Lead Me On is one of my all time favorite songs of hers.
I'm watching this because I love King and Country
I was in high school when this album came out - still love the original, not gonna lie 😉(huge For King and Country fan, too!) ☺

Amy Grant rocks!
Good time to revisit these lyrics...
Amazing Video!
Joel sounds like an angel on this one. As well as any song he sings on solo
Most definitely
One of my favorite Amy Grant songs! The message is inspired!
But not inspired by the Lord.
@@jamestrotter3162 With lyrics like that, it's hard to believe it's not inspired by the Lord!
Wow. What a beautiful and awaited performance!
Love these guys. Thank you for these incredible performances. Love one another! Jesus saves!
Thanks for this!
So beautiful. Loved it. ❤

This was on Huckabee. The entire show was about For King and Country and their movie

So much nostalgia with this song - this album! Great to hear it again.
Love this!

❤ blessings to you 🙏
Her voice sounds exactly as it did in the 80's which is pretty remarkable, given she's in her 60's now.
They Should get a Dove award .......King&County there version of Amy Grants song Lead Me On......
I love you guys
Ficou lindo😊
Great song brings back fond memories only thing missing is Dann Huff on guitar 🎸
Amy Grant is great and those guys seem to sing well but this version is nothing like the original. The original has better music and her voice sounds powerful and the chorus is like a cry from the heart....a prayer.....
Stryper! Great hair!!! lol!

Hence, the beautiful story of redemption.

Watch the movie “Unsung Hero”😉
Watch the movie "Unsung Hero" It will tell you the whole story! Good movie, I watched it twice! True Story!
I love 4K&C, and Amy is my ALL-TIME fave artist, but the original version is FAR better & MUCH more impactful. This is still decent, though.....
Where they even born when this came out

nice, they forgive her.
Nice arrangement but missed the original lead guitar solo post the bridge!!
Great, incredible musical performance but the lyric is really serious and it seemed like the emotion wasn’t consistent with the theme. For example, the line “labeled w a golden star” wouldn’t warrant a smile?
It’s a reference to the Star of David that Jews were forced to wear. The train was a one way trip to the death camps.
He smiled so he wouldn't go flat on the note
They smile because it is a nostalgia rush on a great song
@@paulmoloney6590 The OP knows that. They were pointing out how shocking and inappropriate it was for Joel to smile at that moment 😢
@@Kyuzio Yeah but he knows the lyric well (maybe too well that it's lost its meaning?!) and it merits sombreness, not a smile 😢
Christians forgive and forget! Read it in the Bible! Amen! 70 times 7!
We love trump,trump2024WH ❤❤❤❤❤

?
It is God’s job and His job alone to judge. We ALL try to twist scripture to justify our sin. Who among us can cast the first stone?
I love the Smallbone family but I wish they didn’t team up with Amy Grant for thing song. Not after she betrayed God so she could go along with her niece’s lesbian wedding. She knows what the Bible says about homosexuality and made a choice to ignore it.
She also "remarried".
Jesus's words in Mark 10 and elsewhere are unequivocal.
Once you choose self over God, it's easy to continue in rebellion.
And yet we always wonder why people give Christians grief when they see judgement and gossiping by those who claim to follow Christ. Do better.
@@suzical_the_musical tell her that. She’s the one nitpicking scripture to enable her niece’s bad habits

What a fakey, superficial version of a really cool older song. I remember when Christian music had some heart and authenticity...

😢... creo que no saben que ella apoya matrimonios homosexuales... algo que el Señor aborrece... 😢😢😢
She no longer has a Christian voice
This is a better rendition than Amy ever did on her own. I also like that the guts voices cover up her inability to hold a higher note any more. The guys should sing this without her
just stop
