- DS emulation is getting easier, but does that make it the best way to play the DS classic Pokemon games? In my opinion, playing on real hardware will always be best for DS games considering the complexity of controlling both screens while also using on-screen buttons that you find on emulators on a phone.

thank you for this video! I used to have one of those multicards for my ds, and was crushed when it wouldn't work on my DSi lol. Now I know that I could have just switched the sd card into a newer version of the multicard.

I have a reproduction cart of SoulSilver and the only issue that I've found is the Voltorb Flip minigame doesn't work. Everything else is flawless, I was even able to trade over a Porygon from the GTS!
I’m looking for a way to just play Pokémon games gen 1-5 and really nothing else. Does that 208 in 1 come with all of those? My friend told me there is an online store where you can buy some of the games legit, which is fine, but I’d like to get all of them and not have to wait year(s) for Nintendo to release all the old Pokémon games on their online store. I also need to buy the console itself, so factor that in as well. Thanks for any help!
Only will have gen 4 and 5 out of the box. There's a way you can add an emulator to it to play gen 1 and 2. You can get a different emulator to play gen 3, but it won't run as well.
I'd recommend homebrewing a DSi if that's the case, they're relatively inexpensive and you can play gens 1-5 on them
You can add a ps4 controller to your phone and play. I got every pokemon game worth playing. Almost everyone through the gens. And all a click of a button. And i can screen mirrior to the tv.
I just don't know whether to get the remakes or the 3rd version of the originals
3rd versions are almost always superior, except for crystal Vs HG/SS

Ik this is a very old video but I just got back into pokemon and was wondering those the 208 in 1 cartridge have a speed up mod and if it those how do you activate it, I really hope you answer my question.
Yes it can speed up movement for your character walking animation, it can't speed up battle though

@Asphyxia Mochi guess I can't tell, I always play with fast dialog on in the game menus
The speed change is done with a cheat code from the cheats menu on the flashcard

Gonna play Sword on an experimetal version of the Switch emulator.

Does any of these options let me trade pokemon with a real copy?
All of them will let you trade with real copies, that I've tested. BUT as far as I know none of these will connect to Pokemon Battle Revolution on the Wii

All I know is that Twilight Menu NDS games are NOT recognised by PokeMover on the 3DS, I was kinda coming here to find out if the other two options might work lol. Still searching
