I was there with a large group, Dallas Abstinence Group, and we were all so offended. We were having a great time of worship until this False Teacher got up. We all immediately left! We were so upset we immediately had a meeting on zoom to discuss it and prayed for all the people who do not know the truth and had to hear this! We didn't know if the worship singers shared his opinions too. So we just regretted attending it at all.
Dante is a big part of this Church and close friends with this “preacher”.

Here are Jesus’ own words about marriage:

Jesus clearly defines marriage as between one man and one woman. He was NOT “silent” on this issue. Let’s continue to treat one another with kindness and grace and be vigilant against false teachings.
Hell is REAL and false pastors like the one in the video, will help a lot of people go there! A person must be Born Again to enter into the kingdom of Heaven. If people are living a gay lifestyle how can they be Born Again. I wish people would stop abusing the word love. To watch someone live a life that one day result in their soul being tortured for eternity is not love! It’s truly wicked! I wish you or I was at this concert to shout the truth!! When I say I felt the anger of the Lord after seeing that video, I literally wept and Holy Spirt took over and I started speaking in tongues. God is deeply grieved. Lord have mercy on this “pastor” he has no idea what judgement day will look like for him less he repents.

What this man "preached" was anti-biblical and highly offensive. Not only was it difficult to watch, but it deeply grieved the Spirit. As a black person, I despise it when people compare the LGBTQ to being black. It is NOT the same. Being black is NOT a sin against God. God is the one who made black people, like He made ALL people, in His beautiful image. There is nothing wrong with being black in the eyes of God because He created us and said it was good, therefore, those who judge black people have ZERO justification for doing so. Being part of the LGBTQ, however, IS sinful and is directly against God's will, so we are justified in (righteously) judging and calling out what is not of God, and what is sinful, for the purposes of leading others out of sin. I know that it is a tactic that many people in the LGBTQ movement use to try to compare and validate their own "oppression", but for a supposed Christian to jump in this bandwagon is crazy. May God have mercy on his soul, he is complete FALSE.
Totally agree on this. Holy Spirit is so grieved by this. It's deeply saddening. We need to pray that the TRUE and simple gospel is preached here, everytime. This stuff trying to "subtly" get sneaked in, in the middle of a service is straight up demonic grooming towards the hearers completely.
It is this quest to make being LGBTQ a natural thing that you are born with. This false equivalence between race and sexuality strengthens the belief that since the race is not a sin, the sexuality also is not a sin. It’s really sad.
Cmon now. You know historically there were many ways people used verses against black folk to justify slavery. How you know you’re not doing the same with lgtv? They use their sad/inspiration piano music to soften these vile words into the ears of those listening, but none of that nonsense fools the Holy Spirit. When the Spirit warns you of the lies being spewed, you get out of there and expose the lies as you go. This is absolutely not ok.
This is soooo frustrating! My family and I attended a church for about two years that refused to confront homosexuality and sexual sins...It was quite a surprise to me as there were quite a few people there that we've known for many years...Long story short...shortly after we left the church...here's a list of what happened...in about an 18 month timespan!
1. Pastor had an affair and got divorced
2. One of the elders was arrested for molesting his 15 year old daughter
3. Two of the elders passed away suddenly from rapid onset illnesses
4. Three marriages, that I know of ended with the wives entering into lesbian relationships.
5. One of the worship pastors got divorced...just a few months after his young daughter was born
6. Pastors wife, along with several other leaders started pushing SJW causes...i.e. BLM, Marxism, etc...
Needless to say...the church closed it doors after about only 4 years of existence...The pastors that planted this church were 20+ year staffers of a very well known megachurch. The church they left is pretty outspoken on moral issues and even politics...in a good way!
THIS is a big part of the problem I have with trendy neo-Pentecostalism. People can say all kinds of theologically inaccurate stuff (sometimes straight up anti-Biblical stuff) and get a pass because they’re saying it over an emotionally compelling chord progression. The modern American church needs to stop making correct theology secondary to emotionalism.
Doesn’t sound like he is getting away with it….. but yes the Bible warns of false prophets and the eye of the needle is small.
The devil knows that child like faith is easily misguided. It is important to confirm everything with the written word, your (church)community and prayer.

BRO… Dante isn’t just performing… THIS IS HIS CHURCH! He’s very close friends to the Harrison’s and he’s helping them (probably being paid good money) to help them plant this church. As someone who went with a group of friends and walked out when it turned (a lot of people did), I can tell you could cut the tension in the crowd with a knife. He got up to speak about this after hours of worship and it felt so disjointed from the rest of the night. As someone who has spent 10+ years working in the anti-trafficking movement and a follower of Jesus, it was so disturbing to see someone who is supposed to be a spiritual leader tell crowd of mostly Gen-Z "God is not calling them to submit your sexuality" (don't think this was in the clip you showed) this mindset he is speaking about is the same mindset that fuels 🌽 culture, not sexual integrity we are called to as followers of Jesus. I've been to other AMEN music nights and they have been AMAZING but this one was not it...also just FYI this was NOT Maverick City this was Dante Bowe, Aaron Moses, and Lizzie Morgan coming together for AMEN music.

Based on people’s responses who been there, I honestly believe that pastor manifested demons because the Holy Spirit was moving so well. This happens sometimes (from my own experience). The Holy Spirit can be moving so good but some people don’t receive what He does so they feel the need to “preach” what they really feel in their flesh as a some sort of defense mechanism. Some ppl, even pastors fail to let go of things that are not affirmed in Scripture. And in times like these is where it gets exposed.
Nobody knows how much alcohol was in that wine, so they were not saying how tipsy they were getting and praising it. I'm not saying it didn't have alcohol in it but don't make it sound like he was getting everyone drunk
The Bible is clear that Jesus spent time with tax collectors, prostitutes, adulterers, the demon possessed, the unclean. BUT it was never Jesus who was transformed in those moments. It was always the ones who were with Him whose lives were transformed and who turned from their old, dead ways.

I imagine the rest of the worship night was still really powerful as Jesus was lifted up. Sad to see a bad representation of Jesus’s truth and will mixed into that environment.

The Holy Spirit has been showing us for the longest time that most of the so-called Christian artists and many so-called pastors are not true worshipers of God. They are using God's name in vain by profiting from a "business" since they do not know the Lord. Watch where you go, who and what you listen to, and how you spend your hard earned money for entertainment. My heart grieves for our generation and for us parents who have to stand in the gap for our children in this culture.

Even though I think Jesus wasn't silent on the issue of homosexuality, it wouldn't make sense even assuming he was to say that He was affirming. Jesus pointed us back to the OT and was the fulfillment of the OT; Therefore he would be in agreement with the command to abstain from those activities.

@@6thandHarrison Why would Jesus say something about homosexuality? He was addressing Jewish audiences who were already aware that it was wrong. Paul addressed it because it was an issue in the churches he sent letters to.

@@6thandHarrison Actually I think for us to force Jesus to say something about everything rather than use facts and reasoning to contextualize the Bible is unwise. Jesus didn't need to address everything, we wouldn't need the Old Testament if he did. Make sure if you have an objection, you don't assume the motives of another person. I disagree that Jesus goes mute on homosexuality. Jesus says in Mark 7:21-22 “For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come-sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” In this list of evils is sexual immorality. Sexual immorality is not just sex out of marriage or sleeping with another man’s wife. In the Old Testament beastiality and homosexuality is included in sexual immorality.
The reason marriage is promoted by the State is because there are implied benefits to that society that come from marriage. Those benefits do not come from gay marriage. A civil union is more than enough of a concession.

Actually there are some practical and legal benefits civil unions don’t provide (like health coverage, social security benefits, any federal benefits really). Plus it may not always be recognized from state to state.
Note: I do not agree with gay marriage, but I felt like that should be pointed out.
@Kiki I didn't say people who are in civil unions receive the same benefits as people who are married. I said society benefits from marriages in ways that "gay marriage" does not benefit society. The benefits provided in a civil union is a totally separate issue.

As a Christian I feel religiously homeless. When I was 7, my family converted to mormonism from Catholicism. I never got to have my 1st communion and confirmation And when I turned 18 I left the LDS church because I never believed in it and for a while i thought i was Atheist but deep down i always new i was Christian. So now I don't know what denomination I should join they all seem to be compromised.

The wine in that day was different Ruslan, if you drink even 50:50 wine/water mix it was said that you were barbaric. Most was cut to around 1/4 strength so that people would not be unlawful and drunk with it. And even then, the best tasting wine was new wine, straight from the fresh squeezed grapes, aka what we call grape juice. They had one word for both alcoholic and non alcoholic wine, and did not make a distinction in the text.
Maybe there isn't a difference. Grape juice won't blow our old wine skins.

To be fair, I don't think Ruslan was condoning drunkeness but I did disagree with the implication. People forget the many uses of wine back then. Sure, people did get drunk but I don't think Jesus was all about seeing people getting tipsy. He was among them but He led them out.
Where this revelation that wine back there was just grape juice? It is true that it had less alcohol than the wine we have today, but assuming that it had no alcohol it would go against the scriptures.
If it was only grape juice then why Jesus was criticized for drinking it?

According to other research, the wine was cut with water as much as 20:1, as seen in ancient literature. Also shown by extrabiblical texts is the boiling of wine and the mixing of wine to remove the alcohol content to avoid drunkenness. While it is obvious that Jesus did not commit sin, and therefore lose sobriety, he was accused of it because the wine back then could be alcoholic or very low/no alcohol, leaving room for an accusation of drunkenness for someone that drank even the non-alcohol wine. Although, it was a false accusation. Lots of this information is seen and pulled from a John MacArthur sermon on alcohol.

Dante was not only aware, but the strange oil on him is because he agrees with the message that was shared as to where he is still in need of deliverance.
A bandaid it helpful to prevent added infection, but if the wound was infected to begin with, additional actions are needed and a bandaid could then negatively allow the wound to fester underneath.
Dante and the preacher need prayer and redirection because non of that is co-signed by the Holy Spirit- just flesh.

When i was younger I used to feel sorry for the sheep that are being misled...then once you learn that the people being misled are actually people on the run from genuinely following God, they are looking for something else to follow, that's why they don't rely on the scriptural teachings in the first place..exactly how God said it would happen..I paraphrase " they will believe a lie because they have rejected the truth"

I have to say that I do not think that the pastor that was on stage has ever really had an encounter with the living Christ. We conform to Jesus, not him conforming to the culture of the world system. People need to stop being afraid to stand up for the things the bible teaches. The bible is strictly against this behaviour and calls it unseemly in the sight of God. Anyone can come to God, but they must give up that lifestyle for the simple fact that it is not acceptable to God. it is God that needs to be reverenced not mankind. We must decrease and he must increase.
It is unlikely that Dante Bowe is unaware of their LGBTQ+ beliefs. He posts photos of himself and the founder’s wife at fancy fashion events regularly. It is questionable as to why he does that, as she is a married woman and her husband is never in the photos with them. They seem to have a very close relationship so I doubt he didn’t know this.
Be careful when someone says' we must see Jesus on another level" apart from His word. Run!!!
