- From Tofo Emma & Dirk head to Vilanculos. Vilanculos is a magical place. They took a boat trip to Bazaruto island and saw a dugong, an aquatic animal that feeds off seagrass that's highly endangered.
They also took a sunset Dhow trip in Vilanculos, a traditional sailboat on the beautiful waters of Vilanculos.
Vilanculos is situated in south-eastern Mozambique, on the country’s coastline and within the Vilanculos District of Inhambane Province.
Just beyond the bay is the magnificent Bazaruto Archipelago, a chain of islands in a marine national park. This area has become a favourite Mozambique holiday destination and stopover for many sunseekers.
This was one epic trip, hold tight!

Great content as always Dirk. Good to see a new lady onboard. Nothing against the previous one but the Goth look just doesnt work well with the outdoors
Unfortunately camping is not a big thing in Mozambique, ppl prefer to stay in hotels/lodges or rent houses. It would be nice to make a full map of campsites from maputo to vilankulos, I belive there are sum choices but few ppl know about them.

It is so dangerous for a female to travel to these countries. Just recently, a couple of UA-camrs got attacked in India; the girl was raped by 8 guys. The guy was beaten badly, and they both had a near-death experience.
