Fun Fact: Mick Wingert voiced Slappy in the Goosebumps 2 because Jack Black was working on A Clock in The Wall. That’s why his role of R.L. Stine was shorter.
Mick Wingert also replace Jack Black from voicing Po the Panda and a kung fu panda TV show because they wouldn’t be able to afford Jack Black for the show
Personally no. I think they should have cast someone who is an unknown actor and more older. I wish all the main characters were really unknown actors really. I thought Jack Black was miscast.
@@mikephelps9238But what would happen if the same “scenario” repeats in every town in the United States, or worse, outside the country, and all the books would be burned, and the typewriter would be destroyed? If you want, you could write fan fiction about it.

Imagine if this movie was about Stephen King's books coming to life and that this dialogue exchange happened... (Stephen King finds that the book "IT" is open on the floor). Stephen - Oh no. Not him. Pennywise - Don't you mean "It"? Hello, Daddy. How long's it been? Certainly not 27 years. (Pennywise giggles) Pennywise - Who are you new friends? New Losers for the Club? Allow me to introduce myself. I am Mr. Bob Gray. Stephen - Pennywise, it's nice to see you again. Pennywise - Did you miss me? Stephen - Of course I missed you. Pennywise - I don't think you did miss me. If you did, you would've wrote another book about me. Stephen - Well, I did. In "The TommyKnockers". Pennywise - Was that really me though? Or was it one of my offsprings that Ben Hanscom didn't get to stamp on? Stephen - But I did tease that you were alive in "Dreamcatcher". Pennywise - A book that you are not proud of though. Admit it. I'm just too scary for you to write about again. So, anyway, what's the plan, friend? You must have brought me out for something fun. Terrorize the local children? That way they're fueled with fear and they are ripe for me to eat? Shall we go to Bangor? That is indeed the closest thing we will get with clowning around in Derry. (Pennywise laughs. He sees Stephen going for the book on the floor.) Pennywise - You're trying to put me back in?! Stephen - No, no, no! Of course not! Pennywise - I know when you're lying, Daddy. (Stephen tries to grab the book, but Pennywise roars in his face with razor sharp teeth to scare him, causing him to back away. Pennywise grabs the book.) Pennywise - I thought I was mad enough when Richie Tozier threw sneezing powder in my face and when Bill Denbrough shot me in the head with his daddy's gun. But no. You have really made Pennywise mad now. I've been in this book for far too long. Longer than I usually hibernate. Of course, not as long as I waited for the settlers of Derry to arrive. And they were all certainly a glorious feast for me. (Pennywise sets the book on fire and laughs) Stephen - No! Pennywise - It was quite a big book. Just think of how many trees have been destroyed to make all of these pages for people to read them around the world. I am never going back on the shelf again. Tonight is going to be the best story you ever written. All of your children are coming out to play. And with that, Pennywise would set free the Crimson King, Randall Flagg, the ghosts from "The Shinning", Annie Wilkes, the monsters from "The Mist", Winston Church and Gage Creed, etc.
The giant mantis was in Cujo. Stephen King would have said "I still don't remember writing about a rabid killer dog! (Cujo vomits) Stephen King "Right now I remember."
so let me get this straight, all of the monsters from his books, used to be his imaginary friends, that became real and manifested into physical forms?
yes, using the typewriter that can manifest everything he wrote, i forgot the story title with typewriter, but im 1000000000000000% sure that's the same typewriter.
I actually wanna see a flashback in goosebumps 3 showing the downfall relationship of stine and his monsters especially slappy like they can show stine as a young teen writing then the night of the living dummy falls off his shelf and opens up then he meets slappy for the first time and slappy also calls him papa then slappy can explain how stine can make any story he creates come to life so stine gets curious and opens another book and sees that its true so he opens all the books and let's all the monsters out to scare the kids who made fun of him then the monsters really start hurting the bullies then stine realises that this isn't what he wanted he just wanted to scare them so he starts putting all the monsters back in the books then 1 was left slappy he begged and begged not to be put back in the book but stine still put him back inside and before slappy goes back in he yells nooo papa so stine realized after all that happened he can't live in his old Town anymore after what happened so he took all his stuff and the books and moved to wardencylfe then he set up a house and puts all the books safely away then after a few months go by and stine is feeling lonely so he decides to write one more book not about a monster so he starts writing the book titled my little girl and he creates Hannah and he finally feels like he's not alone in this world anymore

3:04 Definitely an underrated line of Slappy's
Slappy is kind of how I’d expect Bowser Jr to be in the Mario Bros sequel. A more infantile yet sinister version of his papa. That’d be spooky
I think he would sound more like a child.

Imagine Mark Hamill did the voice of Slappy. That’d be awesome.
3:56-4:12
Can someone please tell me why I find these lines to be absolutely badass?
The only thing R.L. Stine didn’t explain was why he keeps moving.
My guess is that he’s paranoid about people getting to the books, so he moves a lot to keep them away
