For whatever reason this was the video that was recommended when I googled how to do one handed catches in Madden 25 and not trying to throw shade more consecutive criticism but you could've done so much better explaining this video. Wasn't a fan of the edit cuts. Follow through explaining. Needs to be more detailed. I get how to do it but for example you just say throw X in there. X for what? Also a high pass is L1 and a one handed catch is L1. Don't you think that's a little confusing with how you explained it.
I can see that, thanks for sharing. L1 is a high ball, if you hold it while your QB is throwing. Once the ball is thrown, L1 becomes for 1 handed catches. X is for a possession catch, so you go to the ground after you do the catch.
@zfarls constructive criticism* stupid keyboard. Thanks for the response, though. Just trying to help out cause I was a little lost. If it makes you feel any better, I watched a video after yours that I thought was more detailed but I don't think he quite knew what he was talking about. He said you have to highlight and click on the receiver before you do it but when I followed your advice it seemed to work more but its not every time that the receiver would do the one handed catch so I don't know if I'm still missing something but I think I mostly got it down.
@@zfarlshe’s referring to a more beginner friendly approach to the video which I see. But for me who has been playing since the original madden 25, I understood what you said. It’s basically a catch modifier similar to how the high low throwing function works for QBs
Wow you’re back lol. Good to see you making content again !
What about for playing defense
