Legends of 2000s and 2010s: equipped powerlifting golden era.
These were my early days in powerlifting. Now I'm 40 and still competing.
Seeing the legends of my youth crushing it back their days gets me psyched up like nothing else.
Tomorrow I'm going for nationals. And so here I am again!!
How’d you do at nationals?
@@desavinofitness20 I won a bronze medal. Then a couple months later got a silver at Italian deadlift championship and after that, in december, I've been golden medalist at Italian cup.
So I qualified for European Master 1 equipped championship in Luxemburg. I'm leaving this thursday and I'll be on platform on Friday.
That's why, again, I'm here today,
Thanks for the concern, mate.
@@Rasoir983 there we go man! That’s awesome. Best of luck! It’s you vs you💪
It has been 8 years ...I still watch every day before the gym
What about now
@@johnmorrison3560he forget now
450 kg without protection the last one. Omg
I think that was Eddie hall
He holds the Dead lift work record at 500kg
he did 462kg without protection (the record)
He used wrist straps.. id be more impressed if he used a belt but no wrist straps..shit ton of weight ,more than i can do. Just saying
@@roneaton9235 This was probably in his training for 500. Maybe the bar didn't have aggressive enough knurl, but even if it did he probably wanted to save the skin on his hands. I doubt Eddie has slender enough fingers for hookgrip so he would have to mix grip, which drastically changes the form and puts his bicep at risk. Also, I know he has torn his bicep at some point but not sure if it was before or after 500.
He can do more when he's not dehydrated!
One of the best sports
“Sport”
@M.A.B nah those are weak sports
M.A.B no, those are gladiator sports. Strength sports are alpha sports
My favorite sport so far
Pretty sure the strongest man destroys the best fighter in a fight
The end guy saying “fuck you” had me laughing...that shit was perfect.
I NEED TO START TAKING GEAR
+TrenchStormer gear doesn't make you better ... right type of training does bro ... I will bear all cost of every type of slat for you if you can lift anywhere near these guys (I am taking about professional strongmen , BIG Z , Shawn , THOR , ETC ) ... easy to hate hard to love ..just saying:P
+josiah laturnus this is so true and so underrated
you can say what you want about it but I have know 220s and 242s totaling 2 grand without roids then they start taking them and their total only jumps 150 pounds or so 2 grand as opposed to 150 pounds the difference is great but not as immense as people might think
without roids, yeah .. cause u monitor their bloodlevels 24/7 over the whole freakin year. 99% of those people are straight up liars, cause they can't keep up with people lifting more while taking the same, or even less steroids.
all I said was .. if gear isn't everything ... if it is than why don't you take them and break 500 KG deadlift record by eddie hall ? .. those other strongman do take gears too .. why can't they break it ? ... you must train properly as well .. yes steroid make you strong as fuck .... but not as strong as anyone in the video without proper training .. so ... take you filthy ass out of this planet sucker
2:10 he let the bar look small
This is excellent motivation, indeed. I'm going to grow my beard out like the man at 0:57

StaneTMI Please don't ever stop making these videos :3 They're awesome
+misterabuse +StaneTMI I second that. Your vids are the best powerlifting motivation. Today I was so psyched after watching some of the vids that I was screaming s**t like "there's no reason to be alive if you can't do deadlift" after every set. And it was a bench press session, lol! Tks, man, keep'em coming!
StaneTMI your videos are the best keep going

Watching them dudes hit those weights got me pumped. I'm more bodybuilder myself but damn I love watching these monsters crush it
At 0:35 is Benedikt Magnusson saying "Gimme more"? If so, that's one hell of an approach.

Off to the other gym and pay 20 bucks for a day pass and slam around some weight. YEAHHHHHHHHHHH BUDDY
